Update: This is a very poorly designed AC model. I have had the unit for a month now and I wish I had of bought a window unit. So not only is it noisier then my last window AC unit, there is this knocking sound that sounds like something it loose. I tried to use to the remote a week later and it wouldn’t work. I tried to turn it on and off and a bunch of other functions. Nadda. I emailed the manufacturer about the remote and let them know and they said only a few options actually work on the remote control… Not sure why they would have buttons on the remote if they don’t do anything…
The biggest issues I have found with the unit it the water. It comes with a hose that could be put out the windows if its close enough to it. I had to use a bucket as the hose was too short. But the hose is at the top of the water collection so it essentially dose nothing. A few drops came out. The unit shut off and said that it was full of water but the drain plug is all the way at the bottom of the unit…. No removable container. No room to get anything under it to drain it. You either have to be super strong to be able to life it into the tub or roll it outside to drain the water out…. Its very hard to move around with the extra weight of the water even though its on wheels… I wish I had of done more research before buying this unit.
It is noisier then my old window unit. The window kit does not fit any of my windows so I to improvise and use some tape. All the window kits pieces were the same size. Should come with a couple smaller pieces to be able to fit all window sizes. Its actually only 5000BTU not 8000BTU. It throws out a lot of heat from the back which is where the air intake is. It does cool but I wish I had of gotten a 5000BTU window AC unit for a fraction of the cost. Not worth the $400 in my opinion.

I ordered this in mid July and it worked just fine till about mid September. I e-mailed the manufacture about the problem. Not only did they respond within a few hours, they figured out the problem and sent replacements to easily fix what was wrong. They shipped everything within 24 hours of getting ahold of them and I received the replacement 2 days later. Unbelievably fast and very polite people. Super professional and AMAZING to work with.

Finally I can work in my garage on hot days!
I need to do some DIY works in my garages and it doesn’t have an HVAC system. Usually I just let the garage door open and use several fans. But it was a little hotter than expected last week so I needed some additional cooling so I wouldn’t be in a puddle of sweat. I want a portable ac because it can be moved to a general area of need. So I chose this at a reasonable price.
The product arrived quickly and was easy to remove from the packaging. Compact and won’t take too much space. It came with all of the necessary elements to vent the heat out. I made some minor adaptations to the garage door and it worked perfectly. I tried Cooling mode and it didn’t come out with cool air at first. Just when I thought it was damaged, I heard a noise of hum and I knew it was at that moment the compressor starting to work. Then the cool air came. Very strong and cool air actually. After the compressing was running normally, I used an infrared thermometer to test the temperature of the air vent and it was 43℉. As I chose the turbo function (the button next to the ON/OFF on the remote), it was loud because the fan was running on the highest level. I used my phone to test the sound level and it was 56.7dB. Not quiet but acceptable. One more thing to notice is that you need to fasten the drain cap tightly, otherwise there will be a leakage after running for two hours.
I will keep trying and updating if there is anything wrong with this machine. So far so good.

I purchased the TURBRO 14,000 BTU Smart WiFi Portable Air Conditioner over a year ago and I have been very satisfied by how it can cool down my 2-car garage, converted into a photo studio space. About a month ago, I started hearing a noise and the unit wasn’t getting as cold as before. I got in touch with the support team and Lyvia and I worked through the issues by sending her videos and photos of the unit. Once they figured out what the issue was, they promptly send me a new unit. Thank you Lyvia for being responsive and following up. Happy customer.

As a senior I cannot return it now, too heavy and I live alone even after I asked them for a return.

I bought this unit last year towards the end of summer when my old LG finally started acting up after more than 10 years of use. It cools my living room very effectively and it’s cold! I’ve read the negative reviews on noise and let’s face it – window units or portable units aren’t central air systems or fan units. They are going to make noise and not be very quiet. That being said I’d say this is in the middle of being too loud and quiet. But frankly I’d rather have a unit that was a bit louder if it meant I and my fur babies are comfortable in the summer.
My only complaint is the remote not registering temp in faranheit – at least i havent been able to change it – and the range of it. And of course the swing of the vent covers can only be controlled via remote. (None of these units I’ve ever owned has controlled that from the unit itself.) Otherwise I’d give this 5 stars.

This was bought to cool a space of about 550 square feet during the summer heat in Kansas. We got it and did a temporary install to try it out before officially putting a hole in the wall for the exhaust.
The Set Up: the set up is pretty self-explanatory. When you take a look at the quick start guide that they provide. However, the drain tube was a little bit more complicated seeing as there are two drain ports, and only one drain tube provided. We initially installed the drain tube on the bottom port thinking that’s where it was supposed to go and eventually switched it to the middle port after we opened it up and realized there was water in the middle port. The instructions do not specify, if once installed in the middle port the bottom port needs to stay open or we need to get another hose. It just kind of doesn’t talk about it.
The Unit: In the video we’ve had it on for about 45 minutes and the room is still quite hot. All windows and doors are closed there’s no air leaks anywhere. The unit itself is noisy but I’d be willing to overlook this if it actually cooled. There are brief moments when it will shoot out very cold air and then all of a sudden it’s like the fan is the only thing running. You can even hear a change in the way it sounds when the compressor is working and when it’s only the fan. Honestly based on reviews I expected the unit to cool quickly or at least cool the space instead of circulating the air.
The Remote: five of the buttons on the remote are not available for the model that I purchased. The guide says to push turbo button to turn on a faster mode, more powerful mode and honestly it does not make a difference.
Overall for the price and the unit as it’s advertised, I would not recommend it does not cool, which is literally the reason that it was purchased it’s been running now for about an hour as I’m finishing this review and the room has yet to even begin cooling down at all. Essentially we just purchased a very expensive fan. Will be returning this product.

I had this portable ac for two weeks and then out of nowhere I heard a loud bang and it no longer works. Contacted help support and they are sending out a new one. Hopefully this one works out.
Aside from that it does blow out pretty cold air and reaches a pretty decent distance.
