We love this humidifier because it is low maintenance – easy to clean and easy to refill with water! No filter to constantly change out and not a million parts to clean. This is the second one we bought since we have 4 kids and we might buy a 3rd since it’s cold season. It doesn’t make any loud noises and is super easy to turn on and off. Great purchase, great value!

We’ve used the Vicks starry night humidifiers for years in all our bedrooms. We decided to give this filterless humidifier a try because the filters are getting more and more expensive. This humidifier makes a constant water-dripping sound that makes me think it isn’t working right, even though it is. It sounds like a constant leak in a sink that is more obnoxious than relaxing. When we ran 2 of these new humidifiers in bedrooms upstairs at the same time, the mist that comes out made our house have a “fog” to it that we had to open doors and windows to clear out. We actually have to clear the house out 1-2 times/day from the “fog” when running them, which is not ideal. We will not be using these humidifiers and will be switching back to the Vicks starry night humidifiers instead. Sad I wasted my money on the 2 of these I purchased in April but can’t return because the return period is expired.

I had for years the Vicks that comes with the hot steam and really did the job it ended leaking and needed to look for a new one. I didn’t want the same cause the steam was so humid in the room that didn’t like it I want this time the choice of cool mist. After looking for different choices ended with the Vicks brand cool mist since you can add the liquid and vape on the side. Only used it very minimal when my kids gets with runny nose or a common cold. Tried once and really like it hope will last a lot of years!

Basically, the vaporizer works as well as expected. However, it is really awkward to fill. Instead of pouring water in from the top, you have to remove the container and turn it upside down and then fill it from the bottom. Additional nuisance is that the container does not fit under a normal faucet in a typical bathroom sink. So, you have to have additional container to fill first and then pour the water into the humidifier. All this tends to spill some water on the furniture you probably use to stand the humidifier on.

We owned a similar model for at least 15 years with no issues. It eventually began to leak si I purchased another Vicks model. It works well. Easy to fill. Easier than the first one.

We love it! Had it just over 1 month and it’s been amazing, so we just bought a 2nd one for our sons room!! I can have it turned on to just past half and it’ll last 2-2.5 nights with the high water capacity!! It hasn’t broken, and doesn’t leak at all! Not even on the dresser which has been the case with every other humidifier we’ve ever used. We live in Colorado, and the winters are brutal with dry skin and noses! Bloody noses and coughs are common without a humidifier. We’ve had several over the past 10 years and all the others leaked to the point we’d have them on a towel constantly! Not to mention how quickly they grew the pink fungus and some even got mold! This one has been going strong for over a month with no sign of any gunk and I haven’t used it every single night because I’ve been too tired a few times to refill it. We have ours is in our large master bedroom to aid my husband, myself and our infant in breathing and nose congestion, and there’s the little Vicks insert spot in case we need some extra help clearing our noses! It also emits very little light, which is super important! The noise isn’t bad and yes it does make a random trickle noise like a drinking water tank once or twice the entire night, but doesn’t bother any of us! Plus, it’s right next to our babes sound machine and our toddlers baby monitor so we already have some noise makers in our room. It has been amazing in keeping our skin and noses healthy and moisturized! Buy it! This one’s a good one!!
