This cools well with water. The small re-usable frozen makes it a bit cooler. The unit has a side door access to the water tank which allows the frozen pack to drop in. The side access can also be used to top off the tank, but I find it easier to take the back filter off when I’m adding gallons of water.
The night mode for the fan uses alternating wind speeds. I prefer a stead rate when I sleep, so I just keep it on low speed at night.

Remote controlled lightweight fan with oscillation and very high speeds for wind power I LOVE IT. Been using it every night so far and that cool breeze is so amazing and can’t be beat. I can only imagine how much better it will be putting water and ice packs (comes with two pre-filled packs you can freeze) will do to make it ever cooler. Luckily even though it is very hot it’s not so bad inside that i have to worry about trying it yet.

UPDATE: I have had this thing for a single month and already it’s not working very well anymore. It should be the perfect size for my bedroom, but now all it’s doing is acting like a humidifier. It’s not cooling, just making my bedroom humid and miserable.

Nice little cooler, works decently for my bedroom. The only problem is that the instructions say to open the side panel and TAKE OUT the water tank, but the water tank is the entire bottom portion of the cooler. There is literally no way to separate the water tank from the rest of the cooler, so once you put the ice packs inside you won’t be able to get them out again unless you plan ahead and tie something to them thats long enough to stick out of the access panel.
Aside from that, the value for the price is good. The wheels work, the remote comes with a battery, and there’s even a spot to wrap the cord around if you’re not using it for a while.

Couldn’t live without it.
Since our electric bill will hike too much, we usually don’t/can’t afford to turn on the main air conditioner and just stick with fans.
This is a good alternative to get cool if you don’t want to use your air conditioner.

Terrible product. Bought for the baby room to keep a consistent temperature but instead got very hot and humid. Might as well just buy a fan.
The “sleep” mode does not work. It is extremely loud. If you need something to help keep a room cool, just get a window A/C. Don’t waste time and money on this product.
