This is an “c ETL us ” approved product which can be legally used in North America. Looks good, very quiet and heats well for a 350 Watt heater.

Thought it would be good for my basement office and it does a decent job but takes a long time to heat up the space. Perhaps a small sized bedroom would be better suited. The instructions were simple yet not overly informative. The plug was upside down and it was only after playing with it that I realized that it could turn.

Blows hot air and warms up my uninsulated teardrop (only 90 cubic feet) nicely on this 40 degree day. Its literally just a full size mattress with 3 feet of head room, so keep that in mind.
I didn’t buy it for below freezing weather so in that regard its perfect.
However.
The thermostat temp sensor seems to be affected by its own heat so when I set the unit to 74 to give it a good test it shut off pretty quickly despite the camper only being about 60 degrees 2 feet away from the heater.
However it will get much hotter than 60F if you set it high and keep it running.
I set the thermostat to 90F and I’m sitting here as I type this getting uncomfortably warm and its still heating up the camper.
This isn’t a issue if you just set the temp higher though, and once you get a good temp set it’ll keep it there, so it gets some points there.
The plug turns 180 degrees, but only in one direction so some horizontal outlets might not work for you depending where they are located. You can flip your outlet 180 degrees, but if you’re not an electrician I wouldn’t suggest doing it yourself.
Side note: 350 watts of heat is roughly 1200 BTUs and a single human body is roughly 500 BTUs of heat on average so you can factor that in if you’re doing comparisons.
If you’re just trying to take the edge off the cold, have good blankets, an insulated teardrop, and are trying to limit power consumption off grid you might be able to get away with this.
350w is a lot of power to run off batteries for a night but if you have shore power or are like me and work third shift you might even be able to run this on a 400 watt solar panel on your roof assuming its insulated well enough that it doesn’t need more than maybe a 40% duty cycle.
If nothing else its low power might be a godsend for folks who have a low capacity electrical system or maybe a tiny inverter generator that can’t handle a big 900 to 1500 watt heater.

Great little unit for a small space. It is pretty quiet and the unit does not get too hot to the touch. It is not designed for large spaces, it is a perfect supplement to take the chill out of our room in the basement. Love the portability, and easy to set up

This item provides very little heat, and is not capable of heating even a small (4×10) space to maintain the temperature you set it to. Certainly not worth this price.

A 21 foot toy hauler trailer has a lot of space to warm. After my July update I continue to be happy with these 2 heaters to fill the void with noticeable warmth, but these reduce my trailer’s propaine usage. I run these on shore power 24/7 at 90 degrees when camping at the Oregon coast where it gets chilly in the PM’s and especially in the AM. In truth, I also use a portable electric heater when ocean breezes get below 40 degrees. These heaters are not meant to be the sole provider for heat… But, it’s nice to have a warm bedroom and especially the bathroom. I recommend these- again!

It’s 90 day’s later and I’m updating my report. One works perfectly, but not the other. I think the confusing and redundant instructions about timers and on off instructions that came with it have confused me and the operation of the heater. Unplugging doesn’t clear the memory and it just flashes, mocking me….. Otherwise, the heat is good enough unless it’s really foggy and cold then the propaine needs to be on.
. I bought 2 of these for my 21′ toy hauler. One’s in the bathroom the other in the bedroom. Obviously these are intended for small areas, but they are quite and for those spaces they do very well indeed. I have operated them 24/7. With the doors closed; each room warms up nicely rather than running the trailers propane heater all night to heat the entire trailer. Propane is expensive now – what isn’t- so eliming heating costs is benifical. I like that are timed too. I recommend this for your toy hauler trailer too.
