This dehumidifier has completely changed my life around. It has been extremely easy to use and has become such a simple part of our routine that it’s difficult to live life without it. With a lot of humidity always in our house, it’s a power sucker to have the AC constantly turned down to keep us from sweating, and cost us more than we would like, so I decided for one summer to buy this dehumidifier and give it a shot. Within just a few hours I could tell such a massive different in the air quality that we were able to turn our AC OFF with no issue whatsoever. Our power bill dropped sharply and we even sleep loads better thanks to it helping with the moisture in the air. My partner has a hard time sleeping in very moist climates as it causes him to get sick, so he was extremely happy to get a good nights rest for the first time in his life lol. It’s a little noisy on the fast setting but on slow you barely notice it and works just as effectively. It sounds and almost feels like a normal fan from the air coming out of the sides. It’s also very easy to push around, even on carpeted floors. You never have to pick it up.
Unfortunately after a year and a half our lovely new member of the family broke when the coolant pipe ruptured, and after a week of testing to see if we could fix it, was no longer operational. So, I reached out to their customer service to see if there was any way we could troubleshoot it from their side and if there was any possibility we could get a new one sent to us, as I wasn’t sure if our warranty was still effective. They are easily one of the BEST customer support teams I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Sadie was extremely helpful in helping troubleshoot the issue to see if there was anything we could do, and even with the warranty being expired was willing to help send a brand new one so we could continue using their products. I couldn’t be anymore grateful with the way that they handled this situation for me and my partner, and will definitely be looking forward to buying more of their products in the future if I need another one, or even a bigger one! Thank you guys so much!!!

Très facile d’utilisation, fonctionne bien. Niveau de bruit très acceptable. Sur le mode « slow » moins efficace mais moins bruyant. Parfait pour la nuit. Mode « fast » plus efficace mais plus bruyant. Parfait pour le jour.
Se déplace super facilement. Il est très beau. Petit bémol, le réservoir d’eau n’est pas super grand et il est un peu têtu à sortir et replacer. Malgré ça je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Après un été d’utilisation il ne fonctionnait plus. Nous nous en servons pour le sous-sol mais l’hiver pas besoin on chauffe au bois. J’ai rebranché l’appareille se printemps pour enlever l’humidité, après deux jour nous nous somme rendu compte qu’il ne faisait que du vent. Ma garantie est fini depuis avril, alors je trouve cela très dispendieux pour seulement que 4-5 mois d’utilisation… Il a même l’air d’un neuf… le filtre n’est même pas sale.
J’ai contacter Waykar sur leur site via le chat. En 24 heures il m’ont envoyé un premier e-mail pour me poser quelque question et j’ai même envoyé des photos.
Le lendemain je recevais un autre e-mail de leur part pour m’offrir des solutions.

This product is great…
Works well to dehumidify (better than our previous dehumidifier). We have been struggling with trying to maintain a 35-50% RH in our master bedroom for years. This Waykar product worked!!
Additionally it’s relatively quiet compared to our last dehumidifier.
We purchased the ‘pump’ option with our model. This is quite ingenious because it eliminates having to ‘dump’ the water basin every day.
Getting from 4 to 5. 2 things:
1. Put in the Owner’s Manual that when you set up the machine to use the pump feature, it does NOT pump the water Out of the catch basin…rather, it pumps the water out as needed, bypassing the water catch basin and eliminating the need to continuously dump the water out of the basin. Seems like a pretty simple thing, but I had no idea it worked this way. All you have to do is hold the ‘pump’ button down for 3 seconds and it will activate the continuous pump when needed.
2. The only other things I would recommend is figuring out a way to reducing the ‘noise’ of the auto-pump when activated. This really is a minor thing…but the pump sounds like someone is gargling in the room… lol. My wife & I both wear silicon earplugs to bed..so no biggy for us. If someone didn’t, however, it would probably wake them up or annoy them at the very least.
The fact that the system is so efficient with auto adjustments for relative humidity (auto-shut off once that rh is attained), and has a pumping system to eliminate water from the system makes me recommend this product without reservation.

Waykar 5000 SF 80-pint dehumidifier: Waykar offered this upgraded model with after the performance of the Sitvon 80-pint one purchased thru Walmart degraded. The email support was very responsive and helpful – absolutely treat you like a valued customer. I waited more than a month to submit my review to make sure this is perfect for our 12’x14′ basement gym. It is easy to use & quiet. Nice features include carry handle, drain hose, reservoir sight glass. The control panel is better than the Sitvon one, and its 7-segment numeric display settings remain lit so you even see it within a semi-dark room after the machine is full (flashing FL) and no longer running, i.e. just plugged in. We like how the register vent is on top, automatically closes flat when not in use, & then opens itself and blows upward when in use. The basin is ~8” at its widest. The Waykar box with its foam padding shipped safely inside an Amazon box, so no worries about ordering online. Highly recommend this model and company.

Although it came with a broken wheel (I purchased a used Amazon warehouse one to save a few), it works perfectly and the Waycar customer service was happy to provide me with a replacement easily. They replied quickly and their website was easy to navigate and make an inquiry. *In the photo I added googly eyes because I thought it would look cute*
The product it’s self really works, I had it placed next to hanging laundry in a cold temperature room, and it was able to remove the moisture from the clothes within a few hours! That’s something I never expected such a slick and small humidifier to do. I really hope you guys get it too so you can appreciate the quality and sleek look of this product. I will be purchasing again and recommending to everyone.

I purchased this Waykar dehumidifier for our basement to keep the musty feeling at bay. This unit removes that humidity very effectively and also rapidly. I especially like the compactness of this unit. It has a very modern look which will compliment your decor. The unit is easily moved from one location to another with the 360-degree wheels. We have this unit set up with the continuous drain feature directly into our sump pump. This feature makes running a dehumidifier seamless. Just plug it in set the controls and clean the filter once a month. When I received this unit, I register on line with Waykar for the warranty. I pleasantly surprised that in doing the registration we received an additional year of warranty for a total now of 2 years.
After using the dehumidifier for the summer season, I discovered an issue with the unit. I promptly contacted Waykar Customer Service for support. I was pleasantly surprised when the company offered me a replacement unit. There are not many companies that stand behind their product like Waykar does. I would not hesitate to buy Waykar again should the need arise.
