Put in my clothes closet as a just in case. And what do you know it actually got water in the bottom of the tank. Don’t know how long the block will last. But it works.

Bought it for a closet and it works pretty well but didn’t even last a month. Tried to order the block refill but it’s not available :-/. Ended up ordering an electric one.

SO FAR I AM NOT IMPRESSED. MY FRONT WINDOW IN THE CAR STILL FOGS UP AND GET FROZEN. I INSTALLED THE CUBE IN MY CAR AS ADVISED. I WILL TRY DIFFERENT PLACES TO PUT THE CUBE, SEE HOW THAT GOES.

Absorbe bien la humedad hasta que se gasta el bloque encargado de absorberla. Luego de un mes, cuando se hace agua, el bloque sólido, el repuesto cuesta un poco más caro que el propio producto

The water that gets collected is not good, when spilled it will not go away! It stays liquid for a long time and will rust metals, stain clothes, and stains your floor, this needs to be mentioned more clearly there’s no warning about this… Be very careful with this stuff! I personally think it should be removed from the market considering how dangerous it can be

I’m using this in a small car in a wet part of the West coast. Before I put this in my car I had to wipe the condensation from my windows every morning so I could see out well enough to go anywhere. This eliminated that problem. I have the 2.2 pound model. It looks like one calcium cube is going to last me about 6 months.

I took a chance while researching for a more powerful dehumidifier over the summer (I wanted to be sure before spending more).
In the meantime I put this in my bathroom cause it was super humid. I noticed reviews saying it would start collecting moisture over time. Within a couple hours it was already starting to do that
Some ppl mention it looks hard to put together but you just put the white block inside the brown slotted container (where the lid attaches), then put all of that in the opaque bottom to collect the moisture and wait.
In terms of cost it’s a great starter tho if you go through the white blocks quickly, buying refills will add up but if not then it’s pretty cool for a small space and requires nothing but time

I bought two of these , one for each closet. After a month only a small amount of moisture was collected in the reservoir. To test their effectiveness I placed a Damprid in each closet as well. After only a couple of days the damprid had collected more moisture than these did in an entire month. Ill stay with Damprid
