we haven’t had a window unit before and were nervous about installation but this was so easy to set up! kit comes with everything you need including easy to follow instructions, scissors/tools and adjustable cosmetic panels so it looks super clean. the unit itself is super quiet and efficient at cooling our one bedroom apartment down quickly. the app connection was was simpler than i expected and works flawlessly so far, i really like that you can turn it on/off from outside your apartment as i’ve forgotten to do so before leaving at times. overall highly recommend!!
update: it’s been a few months and we couldn’t love this ac more 🙂 has worked like a charm and kept us nice and cool even in summer heat waves !!

I live in an old house that gets hot and humid very quickly in summer. I’ve tried so many other window units, and this is by far the best! It looks great (both from the inside and outside view) and was super easy to install. It cools down my place quickly and quietly – I have it in the window in my living room, and it easily cools the entire common space: living room, side room, dining room, and hall. The best part is how quiet it is! I can sit on the couch essentially directly next to it and still be able to hear the tv or have a chat with friends. Honestly, the first time I plugged it in and turned it on, I thought it was broken because I could barely hear it, but it turned out it’s just *that* quiet, especially compared to other units I’ve used. I love the bluetooth functionality as well. I can go on the app when I get out of work, turn on the AC remotely, and by the time I get home, it’s nice and cool. Other reviews have mentioned the internal thermometer is off by a few degrees, and while this is true, it hasn’t had any impact on the unit working for me. If you’re on the fence, I absolutely recommend this product!

*What I like is that I like any ac because I don’t like being hot. It ends there.
*What I do not like is the vents that send out the cold air. The vents are UNALTERABLE. You WILL NOT be able to direct them in any way. They are on the top & a little on the sides. In other words you’ll have a nice cold window & window frame. Look at the design to see what I mean. You cannot direct the cold airflow. (Let’s just say I have to coldest window & window frame in the world. I also have the coldest area behind a radiator in the world, because the radiator is right beside the window. It’s nice & cold behind the radiator. Now if only I could fit behind the radiator.)
*Curtains are a NO with this ac. Be prepared to bare your whole window. If you don’t, the cold air (& it is cold, not quiet though) will go up into & behind the curtains. The direction of the cold air that comes out is straight up & on the sides facing the window frame. That cannot be altered.
I have a fan on each side of it to send the cold air out to the room- which completely cancels the selling point of this ac’s supposed ‘aesthetic’.
(Can’t return it since it was purchased in June 2023, had an unexpected surgery at the time & only put it in until now. Please don’t make the mistake I did in not taking an inside look at things you purchase right away, so it can be sent back if you’re not happy with it.)
Edited mainly to add pics so you can be sure it’s what works for your window:
1st picture shows the issues.
2nd pic shows that I taped down the blinds on to the window, to prevent the cool air from blowing behind the blinds. It was blowing the blinds out as though a squall was coming through. I also turned the lower slats of the blind up, so the air will not be wasted going between the blinds & window.
Also, if you have a double window like I do, the air will blow behind the curtain, unless you tape the curtain down or remove it. I’ve taped it down on that side.
There are no vents directing forward. I get it, heats rises. We know this. But we can’t leave an air conditioner on for 5 hours before the coolness drops down from the ceiling. We wouldn’t even be home. Not to mention the electric bill.
Last thing. You know when you’re getting dressed to go out in the roasting summer? And want to get dressed in front of the ac so it blows on you so you can get a blast on your poor body before you head out? The only way you’ll get that with this ac would be to get a ladder so you can be above the vent on top of it.
Glad it worked for a lot of others, but I don’t get it.

For reference, I live in a 750 sq foot, 1-bed walk-up apartment on the third floor. I could ramble on about this AC, so I chunked out my take-a-ways:
Features: Sleek and Planet-Friendly. It’s a far cry from the bulky window units I’ve had in the past — Passed down from my parents” house and so on. The smart controls are intuitive and easy to navigate. My favorite feature is how quiet it is – We sometimes forget it’s on. Coming from someone who lives in NYC with constant noise outside, it is lovely to have one less appliance that adds to it.
Performance: We live in an old NYC walk-up apartment, and this AC has made the record-high summer temperatures bearable. The dual air intake feature is a nice touch. I’ve noticed that the air is distributed well across the room, which is always a plus.
Emergy Bill: Compared to our energy bills with past units, this hasn’t increased ours and seems super efficient. They have a program called EcoRewards, where you adjust your temperature at certain times (to help decrease your carbon footprint), and you get money back that you can use towards your bill.
Value for $$: Excellent! Depending on what type you’re looking at, it might be priced slightly higher than traditional units — But the energy savings, sleek design, and basically silent noise level make it worth it. I’ll be buying another one once our next one poops the bed.
THINGS TO NOTE THAT I FOUND HELPFUL:
– They offer a trade-in program where you can get $10.00 off your purchase if you recycle your old AC. In NYC, you can schedule a free pick-up for your old unit (their website has the link for this)
– The company is big on environmental sustainability (love to see it), so take advantage of their EcoRewards Program. During certain times of the day, you change your AC temp by a few degrees, and the money you earn can be used towards your electric bill. The company will send you a message letting you know when and for how long to do it.
Buy it! It’s perfect for people who refuse to compromise style, comfort, or eco-friendliness. They give you everything you need to install it, including scissors for cutting the window lining. They also sell great winter covers, so you don’t need to remove the unit annually. If you want an AC unit that combines style, efficiency, and noise level, this is a super solid choice.
