Put this guy in my hunting cabin. Used it twice no more cold cabin. I use this one in my bunk room. 15X15.

Works good here at high elevation .. 6800′ .. just leave a window or vent cracked. Much better than the blue flame heater I had which would not stay working. The only problem on this particular heater .. the striker button doesn’t work to light the pilot .. which is just as well as it is noisy and hard to push .. I just use a long match. I could probably re-position the igniter if I put in the effort. One great thing about this heater .. you can just have the pilot flame for heat .. sometimes that is all you need. And yes .. you will have to have an elbow fitting to connect underneath if it sits on it’s legs on the floor .. not enough room for the hose otherwise. I have mine up on a couple bricks .. takes care of that problem.

Just got it today. We have used this type of heater for over 20 years. To help our furnace run less & for power outages. (Been there more than once). This time we added a blower to it & so far I highly recommend it. Very nice & cozy.

My husband had to go get a connection but hooked it up and works well enough for my insulated She Shed 12×20, eastern N.C. winters 18 to 50 degrees
