I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s been a solid little device that has kept my basement bone dry.
The dehumidifier has a series of great features;
– easy to setup and get running in a couple clicks
– has the option of both bucket and hose for water dispersement
– it’s super – extremely – quiet, I couldn’t believe it.
If you need a good, small, but powerful and quiet unit, this one is for you.
They also have exceptionally responsive and helpful customer support, what’s not to love?

I bought this dehumidifier mainly to use in my basement in the summers and so far it is working flawlessly. It is pretty much set it and forget it which is exactly what I wanted. You can set customize your setpoint desired and you can also use the pre-set options for humidity levels provided. One of our initial concerns was noise and aesthetics but this is very modern and sleek and it is also very quiet. It’s very convenient to be able to see the humidity on a digital display facing you and also have a visual guide for the water level if you use the tank. Emptying the tank is also very easy, the handle provided makes it very user friendly. Lastly one of the big selling points is the customer service. Whether it’s a question or warranty issue, they are world-class. They are respectful, polite, and patient and have no problem with multiple forms of communication. You can tell they pride themselves in customer service and they don’t make you jump through hoops. I would definitely recommend this dehumidifier to anyone that is looking, you can’t go wrong.

Really great product, it keeps my one bedroom apartment feeling fresh in and not humid in the Florida heat. I wish the tank was a little bigger as I have to empty it in the morning and at night on a normal day, and several times if it’s a humid day. But I guess that’s why it has the ability to hook it to a drain, that isn’t as accessible to renters and some home layouts.
Overall, it’s great and not too loud!

I purchased the first dehumidifier in April 2020 and set it up in the unfinished room in my basement – approximately 375 square feet. The unit is compact and has a stylish design. It is relatively quiet – quieter than the GE it replaced. It maintained the humidity settings (set at 55%) with seemingly little effort. The temperature and humidity gauge were exact, matching a separate gauge that is kept nearby. It was easily set up to drain to the floor drain. The filter is easy to remove and clean, which I did monthly. The first dehumidifier worked perfectly for the first 12 months.
In the 13th month (May 2021), I noticed the unit running constantly. It was no longer pulling the moisture out of the air. I contacted Yaufey Support via email on 5/15/2021. In ALL communications outlined below, I received a reply within 12-24 hours.
5/15/2021: Using an extended warranty verification email from Yaufey from April 2020, I contacted Yaufey Support and told them it was no longer pulling the moisture from the air and briefly described what the settings were on the unit.
5/16/2021: Yaufey Support ( Emily ) responded asking if I could provide more information, perform some simple tests, change settings and let operate for 24 hours – and provide some photos of the control panel settings.
5/17/2021 – 5/18/2021 – I performed the tests and took the requested photos.
5/18/2021: I sent the results and answers.
5/19/2021: I was asked to perform a service review before an application for a replacement could be submitted.
5/19/2021: I replied that I would not do a review while I still had a non-working unit rather than a new working one. I would do a review once I received a replacement – unless I wasn’t going to get a replacement without first providing a review. The unit was under the extended warranty from product registration back in 2020.
5/20/2021: Was asked to do a review for service only. It didn’t have to be on the product.
5/21/2021: I replied again that I would not do a review until I had new one – unless I was not going to get one, which would be a different kind of review.
5/21/2021: Emily responded that I would get a new one, but asked for a review after receipt of the new one.
5/22/2021: I said I would do the review after receipt of the new one. I asked if they had my address on record. I also asked if she could estimate delivery and would the new one have a new warranty.
5/22/2021: She responded she did not have my address and could I provide it. The unit would arrive by the next Saturday if that was ok. And, the new one would be under its own new warranty.
5/22/2021: I responded with my address and that Saturday would be good.
5/24/2021: Emily let me know the application for a new one was submitted and I would get the shipment tracking number in 2-3 days.
5/25/2021: Emily sent me the tracking number. Asked for a review.
5/26/2021: I replied that I would do the review once I received the new one and made sure it worked.
5/27/2021: I let Emily know that I received the new one. But, it was delivered on its side. I would have to stand it upright for 24 hours per the owner’s manual. I asked for an order number so that I could register the new unit.
5/27/2021: Emily sent the order number and said she would help if it didn’t work on the registration website.
5/28/2021: I registered the new one without a problem. I powered up the new unit and it is running perfectly. And… I’m doing the review which I will be sending to Emily (per her request for a screenshot).
Overall, the product worked as expected – other than not working after 12 months. And, although a bit of hassle, I did get a replacement under the warranty – no cost to me. I am pleased with the end result of a working dehumidifier.

Ordered via Amazon, received within 3 days. I could tell from the moment I unpacked it that it is a quality item. Well made and easy to move around (it’s on wheels) My old unit died out, so my basement, which is always battling humid conditions, was without a working dehumidifier for about 4 days. This unit got to work as soon as I started it up, and in about 2 hours (on the lowest setting, mind you) my entire basement went from 70% humidity down to 45%. I’m very impressed with: how easy it is to operate, the different settings that are available, the low-noise level and most importantly, how well it works. Overall, It’s a quality item that works as advertised, well worth the money. I’m really glad I bought it.

This is a very nice dehumidifier. I choose this one because I required a dehumidifier that could bring down the humidity range to 30%. I also wanted one that could drain without having to worry about emptying the water tank. This dehumidifier had everything I was looking for. It was nice looking and didn’t look out of place in my room. I did have an issue that I contacted their support group with and they were very quick to respond and told me what I needed to do to resolve the problem. Overall, it’s a quality item that works as advertised, well worth the money. I’m really glad I bought it.

2500 sq ft is… optimistic to say the least but this unit does a great job for its size. My basement has proven to be far too humid and I was starting to worry about mold becoming a problem. So far this has brought my RH down from an alarming 70%+ to a much healthier sub-50%. It still seems to be slowly dropping so it will likely get even lower than that as everything in the basement dries out. Its also pretty quiet and doesn’t use much power
I will say that the on board water storage capacity is a joke, you will fill it in less than a day easily operating in high humidity environment. A different drainage solution is a must. I have mine draining into a 5 gal bucket, which this unit fills every 3-5 days depending on humidity levels. I have mine in a basement so I don’t care about aesthetics but this is something to consider before purchasing, I will probably switch to a AC condensation pump setup long term at some point but this works for now.
As impressed as I am with the performance of this unit, if you live in a high humidity location like the American south and have a large area to dehumidify then you may want to consider something bigger

I found the device very easy to use, it removed the moisture very well. The noise level from the device was very low, emptying it was easy. Plugged it in, set the level I wanted on the LED and let it do its job.

This is my second review. My first was just just a preliminary one. I’ve used this dehumidifier now for almost 1 month…constantly. I am amazed at how much water it collects! It stops working and the red light indicates it needs to be emptied. Emptying is so easy! Once the tray is put back, the machine starts immediately. I have not yet cleaned the filter. It suggests doing so after 1 month. Hopefully, it will also be a simple process and that this dehumidifier will continue to amaze me.
