We live in a very old house, even with a lot of updating done, some of the closets can get a musty smell. We have a dehumidifier in the basement and these are doing a great job in the closets. I love that you can hang them and they’re keeping the closets so much fresher. I hang 2 per closet and will definitely be getting another box after I go through this one.

I recently had a leak under my ac vent, so I ordered these to help dry things out after fixing the issue. I hung all ten of these in various areas of my home and most had at least a small amount of water in them by the end of that first day. I do want to note that I also live in FL so it is always relatively humid. I was surprised to see that the water partially separated and you could kind of see the gel residue (I’m assuming from the moisture beads). About three of the bags ended up getting some of the water trapped – shown in my second photo posted. I went over all of the bags and worked my fingers over the top portion of the bags, from the outside of course. I think it helped loosen them up because on the fourth day, the water ended up down in the second bag. I would say these work pretty well. If you break down the price (They’re currently 24.99 on sale) the value is about 2.50 per moisture bag. They seemed to have helped as far as I can see, so I am pretty happy with this set.

I didn’t think there was so much moisture in my closet but after a couple of days of placing a bag there, the water trapped in the bag was about 1/4 L high as shown in the attached pictures. Initially, there were a couple of drops around the 24-hour mark but a couple of days make a huge difference. These came in airtight individually wrapped bags so only cut them open when you are ready to use them. I didn’t notice any visible holes up top where the little white pellets are but I supposed the moisture is strapped or sucked into these pellets from the paper on the back of the bag. and then dropping down below. But overall, these worked well as expected, easy to use with the hanging hook and all, no cleanup mess after, and no odor too. Depending on the surrounding dampness level, these should last anywhere up to 60 days but looking at the rate of the water level in my closet and the amount of pellets left up top, it should be around 30 to 45 days top, which is more than good enough for me.

So I recently tried out these Moisture Absorber Hanging Bags and I have to say, they totally exceeded my expectations. These are perfect for keeping my closet and other small spaces feeling dry.
The bags are super convenient and easy to hang up wherever you need them.
If you’re looking for a simple way to combat humidity and musty odors, these hanging closet dehumidifier bags are the way to go. You won’t be disappointed.

These are a good price for what they are—essentially large desiccant packs used for passive dehumidifying. They use a form of calcium, so I like that they’re using natural mineral hydrophilic properties, and have no smell and have a large hook to hang easily. I wanted to use one in my pantry for starters, as sometimes I notice a musty smell, and am hoping to mitigate that in our humid environment. It took a few days of hanging to notice that this was starting to collect droplets of moisture in the bottom compartment. The way these work is that the minerals in the top attract water, which drains down into the bottom compartment, and when the top is empty and the bottom is full of water, it’s time to use a new one. Very simple and easy to use, just open the sealed pouch for each one.

These moisture absorbent bags are a lifesaver for me. Yes, that sounds like an odd statement but that’s how I feel after returning from an extended vacation to closets full of mold.
These bags are double the size of my all my many previous bags. They are in my closets and armoire right now and quickly filling up. The plastic is thick so I will not be worrying about leakage. Also, all the bags were set up to hang right away and I didn’t have to snap the ends together. Win, win.

I ordered this 10 pack of ZSZMFH Moisture Absorber Hanging Bags, because we live in a coastal town with high humidity year around. I like the hanging dehumidifier bags, because they are so much easier than the containers. If you accidentally bump and spill the containers, they spill and the liquid never ever evaporates. You just remove them from the cellophane that surrounds them and hang them where ever it is convenient. I like to hang them with the paper side facing away from the wall. With these, you just toss them in the garbage can when liquid fills the clear area at the bottom half of the bag. These come fully assembled, unlike some that you have to snap the hangers on to. I think these moisture absorbers are about an ounce smaller than the name brand hanging moisture absorbers, but you get a lot more bags for the price. I plan to purchase these in the future, because we use them in our RV, garage, and basement, and they work.

One of the main reason for a smelly, musty closet is humidity. While these bags don’t have any fragrance, they suck the humidity out of the air and trap it in the bag. After a couple of weeks use, my closet is noticeably less musty and the bag is starting to swim in water that its pulled from the air. At about $2.40 a bag, I’d say these are a pretty good deal. The active materials that suck the water from the air haven’t appreciably decreased in the 2 weeks I’ve been using them so I’m thinking they may go a good 2-3 months between changes. I combined these bags with a cedar oil diffuser, so things smell pretty good now!
