   The unit is what I expected. Works well h efficient. However, the installation directions have information gaps. Two emails to tech support went unanswered and it took 3 days after I left a voice mail for te h support to call me back.

   Husband put this together by ever step of directions which I must say are excellent, but when we ran the text it threw a P4 message and never worked. Only fan ran. No heat no cool.
   We contacted Custer services of MR Cool and they never replied. Since it was so much work to put in we were in great hopes to get them to help fix it or send new parts to replace what was not working.
   Husband looked through YouTube for the P4 issues and seemed to be the same for all brands of mini-splits. So he tried the checks they suggested but all came back good. 3 days later no reply from MR cool tried Amazon and they did answer they did try to help but going by troubleshooting book could not.
   So only options were discount and that was not happening on it not runny at all. Or return. So we had it set up for return.

   I do have to say Amazon was great as they sent a big truck to pick it up and return it. We did not have to do it. Thumbs up Amazon for that.
   Do not by We had the 12K 22 Seer DIY Do it yourself MrCool.

   So quite. Very efficient. High quality. Couldn’t be happier. Not a diy unit. The only problem we had was trying to find an installer since we didn’t buy it through the installer. Finally found a certified handyman to install it and it works excellent. Would highly recommend this product.

   Had this mini split installed during the winter and it was able to keep my living room and kitchen ( 400 sq. ft.) very warm. It was easy for my son to install and he was the one that recommended it. He has installed many of these and feels they are all worth the money!

   Your install will likely be cleaner if you cut the hoses to length. If you want to do that use spin flare tool or you will struggle. I wasted money on a few different tools before I figured that out.

   Liked everything about the unit
   As long as the heat wave continues,I will be using the AC function
   When cold weather hits,the heat pump will be used

   This is the perfect add on. to a house that is not keeping up to our Texas summer. This is not a do it yourself unit. Mr cool does sell those I have seen them on Amazon. The big difference is the copper line set. I am an hvac tech so it didn’t matter. Mr Cool is a well put together kit. This was my first mini split install. I put this one in my rental unit with a new regular 2.5 ton a/c unit. I did a stress test with both units going full blast on a 110 degree day. I was able to maintain 68 degrees inside the house. My renters had to put on sweaters they felt real cold at 68. The mrcool pulls out the humidity it felt like 50 they said. And lowered the electricity bill by 75 dollars a month. (Summer months) all said and done I’m trying to find an excuse to get another one. Well worth the price. A great Value 👍

   After installing and the unit failing after 3 weeks we got a hold of tech support. They told us it was not the DIY version and this version has to be installed by a professional or else it will fail. Currently going through the channels trying to get this replaced. I should’ve read more into the description. BUYERS BEWARE, NOT DIY
