Very pleased with this freestanding fireplace stove. I had a very expensive Vermont Castings cast iron electric fireplace stove for more than 20 years. It was very heavy but wonderful. But, the company is out of business and I could not find the parts I needed to fix it. This puts out more heat and has a brighter flame and better flame motion than my Vermont Castings. It also looks great. But several parts are plastic (like the legs). I was worried that when I flipped the stove after installing the legs that they were too flimsy. So far so good. I knocked it down a star for the cheap plastic. But I plan to keep it in one spot though certainly light enough to move without much effort.

Great Looking Logs and Fire. Very Attractive Unit. The doors are flimsy, poor quality. My other unit has good solid doors that have the feel of cast iron. Why the manufacturer cut corners here ??? Well, at least the flame is great, we’ll have to put up with the doors.

Quick delivery. Great packaging. Very easy to assemble, just screw on the legs and plug in. Easy to use temperature control. emits great heat. Beautiful color of bright brilliant orange. My husband kept saying “the fire and logs look so real!” The legs are plastic but they are a hard thick plastic and seem pretty study. The doors are light plastic but its not a deal killer. Overall we are extremely satisfied with this electric fireplace. A “little” on the pricey side but its so pretty and realistic that we are ok with spending the money.

The heater is very pretty but the double doors are so flimsy they wobble when you open them. I’m afraid they will break very easily. When the description said metal and plastic I never dreamed it was the doors that were plastic. For what I paid for this unit it’s very poorly made. I would send it back in a heartbeat if I wasn’t 76 years old and have no way of reboxing it to send it back. I could have gotten a much cheaper one if I wanted flimsy plastic doors.

I had a very odd 30” x 30” cubby cutout in my bedroom – not sure what the builder had in mind with that, but it’s perfect for this fireplace. I searched and searched for one large enough for this space. Beautiful flame and high heat. I’m going to keep my five star rating because I love it. But, at this price point it should come with a remote. I solved that by plugging it into a remote controlled power strip. VOILA!! Also, will agree on the flimsy doors, but if you open from the grate and not the handles, it’s no issue at all. I also added a crackle box.

Hands down! for 500.00 bucks its the best looking and most realistic electric stove. Look at its size and appearance, there is no other stove like it. I had no damage with shipment and all you have to do is put the legs on. Super quiet fan with more heat than I expected. 14 x 22 new office in attic space and in 20 min. temp rises from 53 to 67. Flames are very realistic as well as the log set. Don’t worry about the few pieces that are plastic cause there’s no way of knowing that by looking at it and it doesn’t conflict with its functionality. As far as the bad reviews about the no remote? I just put in a smart outlet for 10 bucks and voice command the unit to come on or just turn it on from my phone 15 min before I have work to do and my office is nice and toasty when I come up. I am a licensed contractor so my review does come with some merrit and I’m very satisfied with this product versus the price!

We bought this mainly for aesthetics rather than as as a heater, but the heat function is a nice plus. I agree with other reviewers that the doors are not as substantial as could be, but we’re adults and don’t expect to be rough on them. There is no remote control but that doesn’t bother us. It’s quiet and the low hum of the heat added to the crackle box (which we purchased as an extra) give a cozy fire sound on chilly mornings. As electric fires go, it is probably as realistic as you can expect and the detailing of the design and doors (no glass, just an open cut out) add to the illusion of a real stove fire from another era. It arrived promptly, was well packaged, and was easy to assemble (just the legs had to be attached) with just a screwdriver. Heat output is just okay, probably not its best feature, but I love the look and sound.

update: broke after 2 months, no heat, no fan, no flames.
We really like how this attractive heater puts out the heat (2 speeds) and offers flame like ambience. It was delivered to our door, easy open box, plugged in to standard 120v receptacle and switches on with one main toggle and choice of low or high speed.
We speed a lot of time in our 800 sq ft mostly finished in garage that has a wall commercial heater but does not warm us at the sitting level. This heater’s fan is quiet, so quiet we can’t tell it is running unless we walk over to it and feel the abundant heat. Surfaces are cool, so no worries touching it or the cat rubbing against it. The doors are plastic material but sturdy enough for the application. We did not find what other reviewers said were flimsy doors. They are merely for decor and anything heavier would delimit the portability of this unit. The on/off, heat settings are easily accessible without even opening the doors. We did not consider a remote necessary. Looks like a far more expensive enamel cast iron stove ( we have one of those too) .
Our only criticism is that some of the edges are a little rough to hold when moving. Otherwise, unbelievable QUALITY and VALUE !! Just plug it in and enjoy the warmth.
