- Simple Installation & Connection: Remove the mounting plate on the body and install it above the door frame with screws. Then, hang the air curtain on the mounting plate to complete the installation of the machine body. Connect the sockets of the magnetic door switch and attach them to the upper and lower door frames respectively, and then complete the preparation before use. Smith’s Gourmet Creations –
Our box sat for probably 2 weeks before we opened it. We use this air curtain at our restaurant to keep insects from flying in from one of our doors. After 2 weeks, the fan fell off track and we had to put it back on track ourselves. It worked for another week or so and fell off track again. When I looked at the return date we missed it by 10 days. Now we are stuck with this product that is not sufficient.

With two cats and two dogs our backdoor is opened and closed many, many times a day. This sucks out our heat and cold a little at a time and at the end of the day is noticeable. We have this air curtain mounted above the backdoor and my husband wired it up to a motion sensor, to make life a little easier. Now when we go to the backdoor to let someone in or out it turns on automatically producing a wall of air that keeps the inside air inside and the outside air outside. It did freak out the cats at first, but they quickly caught on it won’t hurt them.
We have noticed a difference in the house holding its temperature more consistently.
Overall, we are happy with this air curtain, and we would purchase it again.

Install this on our back, sliding door to stop the flies from coming into the house open the door turned it on the flies. Fly through it like it’s nothing on high speed. This is so worthless. I can’t believe people are even buying it and saying what they say it cannot blow hard at all, 3 feet away from it. Great not 7 feet doorways. Stay away.
