I cannot say how many humidifiers i have had over the years. I cannot use steam ones because the can cause problems. The ultrasonic ones are a better choice for me. The problems I have bad in the past are leaks and general failure after a short time. This one is super quiet and holds a lot of water. The humidity level is adjustable and the slim design make it easy to fit anywhere. It is easy to use and comes with a remote. The only thing I noticed is the controls on the unit are opposite of the controls on the remote. Since I only use the remote it really is a non issue. The unit is well made and the design seems like it will last longer than the others. The display is nice and bright. Good item.

I like this humidifier! Holding over 2 gallons of water is such a joy when it comes to refilling every day as with smaller units. Pouring the water through the cover openings takes a while, the openings are small and can only take a small amount of water. Easier filling is just remove the entire cover, ( it will leak if there’s still water inside). The circle directional cover piece is hard to turn, this is supposed to be a 360° mist directional, I picked up the gray portion of the cover, rotated it and turned the circle directional only a tiny bit, I just don’t want to man-handle it so early and break it. This is the 4th or 5th humidifier I’ve purchased in the same amount of years. All of the previous were smaller, only holding a gallon of water. The reason I don’t have the others, is I felt they didn’t clean well. There was always nooks, corners, indents in the bottom that I never felt were clean even after frequent vinegar soaks and brushings. This machine has a flat, smooth, no crevice bottom. It can be thoroughly cleaned! ♥
The plastic is on the thinner side, if this were dropped, I’d expect it could crack.
The handles are not one piece with the container bottom, the inset handle is a separate piece of plastic placed into the opening. Just a thought…this could be a weak spot. I do like the mist output, it’s had the most mist comparing it with my previous units. ♥ I also like that it will shut off when the requested humidity has been reached, or it’s empty of water. Using this in a +325 square foot bedroom at night, it’s reducing my nose and throat dryness. Using this upstairs and not wanting to carry over two gallons of water up the stairs, I’m using a plastic drink pitcher that I can fill from my bathtub for filling the humidifier.
For this price point, I’m loving this one.

Reviewing KZF Humidifier for Large Room Bedroom, 9L/2.5Gal Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, We need to add humidity to our home throughout the winter, but not in the summer. That means we have humidifiers in every room. Adding a whole-home humidifier would be a pain because it wouldn’t be used in the summer. Since I don’t want to spend half my day refilling humidifiers, I order large ones.
This humidifier is 2.5 gallons, so it works well, running all day and night, only needing filled up every few days. It is being used in a guest bedroom. The humidistat is off by several percents, but that is likely due to not having automatic temperature adjustment (because it doesn’t have a temperature meter). I can adjust that by upping the amount of humidity I want. For example, I want a 45% humidity in the winter, but I need to adjust this humidifier to 66% to get it to humidify the room to 45% (I use a separate hygrometer to measure the humidity level), so it’s not a deal breaker for me. Also, it’s not winter, so I am testing it with higher humidity rating, since it’s much easier to get to 55 to 60% humidity this time of year.
It comes with a remote and is a top fill humidifier, both things make it convenient to use. It is very lightweight and easy to clean. It needs cleaning a minimum of once a month, which is typical for a humidifier. Overall, I’m happy this humidifier. I really like the added benefit it provides. It’s not a top-of-the-line humidifier, but it gets the job done for a *very* economical price. The $65 price tag with the amount if features is amazing. I am removing one star for the humidistat being off by so much though.

This humidifier is really easy to set up and use. It also does an amazing job at keeping the humidity level right where I want it. And its tall and narrow profile gives it a small footprint, so it stays out of my way. I placed it in the corner of my living room and I hardly even notice it’s there. The sound is very minimal as well, I can barely hear it running.
Its functions can be controlled manually, or by using the included remote. The mist output, timer, and humidity settings, can each be customized to suit my needs. Also, the direction of the mist can be adjusted by rotating the spout on top. This is very useful since it can be moved to prevent too much moisture from saturating a specific area.
The large capacity reservoir is another really great feature. Holding that much water means I don’t have to refill it as often. If for some reason it ever gets too low, the unit will automatically power down. It will also shut off when it reaches the set humidity. And since it doesn’t use filters, I don’t ever have to worry about changing them out.
Overall, this is a high-quality and low maintenance appliance. It works exactly as advertised and doesn’t cost a fortune. For the price, I feel it’s a really great deal.

I picked this up for a West facing bedroom to keep my houseplants happy on those hot summer days.
This works great and does an awesome job while occupying a very small space. The water tank is a fair size and provides well for most sized rooms.
It’s whisper quiet and doesn’t leave a puddle of water under it while in use.
I find to be a good deal for what all it does.
