Small, lightweight and quiet on lowest of 3 settings. otherwise, soft rushing whooshing ‘white noise’. Control lights can be turned off except for one, helpful. On/Off light flashes when unit is turned off, so I unplug it if all the windows are open. Was not as proficient at eliminating ‘old building’ smell as I’d hoped but the thing works: filter lost all transparency after about six weeks in small New York City apartment! Air feels cleaner when windows closed and air conditioner running. We’ll see how it goes in the winter with radiators on.

I bought 4 air purifier last Christmas 4 months ago so I need the filter but God they only last a month for me so not sure if there are cheaper option but I’m really guessing that it’s too expensif 4 filter a month 😅

I have had this for a month and am just delighted with its performance. I live on a very busy street with a lot of dust. This definitely improves air quality in my apartment. The entire apartment is 750 sq. ft. and this easily takes care of living room and kitchen. Furniture does not get nearly as dusty and my allergies seem less bothersome. The filter is to last 1200 hours but I plan on changing it every month (about 720 hours) because of the dust the road generates. One of my best Amazon purchases
