This unit can’t even keep my work room at 61f. It doesn’t even turn on when it’s 72f in my work room.
I’ve lost thousands of dollars 💵 in product the past yr, because this unit can’t keep a simple room at the temp it’s set for. Temp in room can not go above 67f & it does just about everyday because this doesn’t turn on 80% of the time 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Bought this to replace previous Amana Ptac.
This one constantly cuts off for high temp. Called Amana, they sent out service tech from over 40 miles away (I’m in Louisville). Service tech couldn’t find anything wrong, but said I needed to buy a new sleeve…. even though the one I have is an Amana sleeve.
Didn’t fix it, and they charged me for the service call.
Wasted almost a grand on this boat anchor.
