For the money, this little heater really does a good job heating up a room quickly. It definitely can help with heating bills in winter; you can leave your overall heat lower, and keep the heater in the room you are in to keep you warm. I haven’t used it yet with the heatless fan setting, but that option will come in handy in summertime for helping circulate air.
I like the portability; there’s a handle for carrying, which is nice because the front can get hot. It’s very lightweight and easy to move around.
The cons are fairly minor, considering how well it works for the low price, but I would mention that it isn’t as quiet as I expected. If you’re using it at night in a bedroom, the noise could be an advantage–it creates a white noise that might help you sleep. However, if you have it on in the living room and are trying to watch TV, it makes it hard to hear.
Another minor con is the safety feature which turns it off in case of tip-over. For those with pets and/or young children, I could see how this might be handy. But for me, it’s slightly annoying. There is a button underneath that triggers shutoff the moment the heater isn’t perfectly level. This means that you can’t set it on a surface that isn’t 100% flat, and you can’t slightly angle it to blow directly at something. Sure, it still spreads the heat throughout the room, but you can’t direct the heat unless you have a flat surface exactly at the height you want.
Overall, I would recommend this heater–it’s a solid basic heater that puts out a good amount of heat. It does generate more white noise than I expected, and the safety feature prevents strategic angling, but if you are looking for basic and affordable, this is a good buy.

This is a great product to help a small area warm. My boyfriend likes to play video games on his computer console and relax in the garage from time to time, with this product it helped to keep the area nice and warm. We are located in Florida, so our winter season can feel really cold to us Floridians. So, this product worked out great to keep the area nice and toasty. I would defiantly recommend this product to someone who wants to keep a small area nice and warm.

This thing has a powerful kick! It is all you need for a room. We use it on our boat and it works like a charm! I can’t recommend this thing enough, I have even sent the link to others in our marina to buy.

This product is great for a quick space heater for a small space during a cold snap.
I have an older apt in LA and my main heater is in the living room. The bedroom can get pretty drafty in the winter. We had a cold snap so I got this space heater. While it worked, I think it’s probably better suited for cubicles or under desks in an office – really small spaces (it’s basically a large hair dryer). It doesn’t heat up a room by any stretch of the imagination.
It does have a fan to disperse the heat that I found it worked best when placed near the bed and pointing directly at it.
I also never realized how little energy I use at home until I got this thing. One month with this heater and my energy bill tripled. It has an option to use 750W or 1500W. TBH I had no idea what that meant. I had been using it on 1500W the whole time. Don’t do that.
I believe it has a thermostat setting however there are no numbers or temperatures to choose from. For example: if you want it to keep your room at a solid 72F, there’s no way to set that temperature. There is only a more hot or less hot dial so you don’t know what you’re actually setting it to or at what point it turns itself off (if at all).
The other dial is for fan, 750w or 1500w all marked by X, I or II respectively. I should have set it to 750w or have come back more frequently to turn it on and off as needed. This is not a “set it and forget it fan”.
I did learn today that the math to calculate the electric bill on this is…
1) Take the wattage you have it set at and multiply it by the hours that it is running
2) Divide that number by 1,000
3) Multiply that number by your billing rate
