I have a covered porch that isn’t really insulated. In the winter time, it needs a little help to stay warm. I’ve gone through a bunch of space heaters, and I’ve never really liked any of them. This one reminds me of the old-style radiators in form factor. I love how flat it is. It really kicks out air, and it’s QUIET.
I’m so happy with this.

I got this unit for our kids’ bedrooms that tend to get cold in winter time even with the central heat on. The unboxing experience was quite pleasant, and its protective paddings along with elegant packaging of accessory pieces are of great quality.
The module can be either wall-mounted or used as a standing unit with the provided leg pieces. It’s quite sizable in terms of width and height, but it’s impressively thin for the depth, and I found it taking up less space than initially had expected.
Controlling the machine is straightforward with the remote, and once turned on the heat generation and circulation is very quick and effective. Happy with the unit, and can’t wait to put it in full action in the coming winter.

As someone who has a small office to heat–but needs something QUIET because I’m in meetings regularly–when I saw this Ballu convection space heater, I had to try it.
The problem with little offices is that they’re often additions to your house that don’t have good heating or cooling and they’re SMALL so floor space is a minimum and any sounds are amplified. This Ballu heater fit the bill as it is able to be hung on a wall (no floor space! And it’s thin!) and it’s completely SILENT.
To hang it on the wall, it couldn’t be much easier. It comes with a bracket pre-installed. Just remove the bracket from the back, use it as the template for drilling holes into your wall, and then clamp the heater back onto it. Done! The only thing I didn’t love is that the heater itself will get very toasty. It doesn’t feel right to have the rubber cord laying anywhere on it, front or back. So I’m going to have to route it away from the heater completely. (And WHY is the cord BLACK on a WHITE heater?!)
That said, wow does this thing work well. I turned it on and expected the familiar fan sounds from those regular floor heaters. Not this one. It’s silent and just slowly raises the temperature in the room. I’d much prefer that because it can get hard to hear in meetings when a fan is going. It comes with a remote, too, which has EVERY function available, including several modes for heating (casual/boost/economical), a temperature readout, a timer, auto-shutoff, and even a childlock.
All in all, couldn’t be much happier. Despite the issue with the cord routing, I have to give this one five stars for a thin, silent wall mount! Highly recommended.

This heater looks stylish and elegant. It feels well-made. It is not designed with the people using the English system in mind. Of course, the English system is terrible compared to the metric system. Sadly, there are still less than a handful of countries that are still using the English system, and the U.S. is one of them. The display on this heater showed the Celsius permanently printed on its panel, so people will need to convert that value into Fahrenheit.
I am not going to go too much into detail on how this heater works since it has a serious problem that is unacceptable to me. It has the timer function and different modes. It can be controlled with a remote control. The temperature is adjustable, and so on.
This heater is a convection heater, so it has no fan to force the heated air out, which makes it quiet, but it is slow to heat up the room. Its webpage claiming that it can heat up a room fast within 60 seconds is simply an exaggeration. Rapid heat-up is not an inherent attribute of convection heaters. They are energy-efficient and heat up a room more evenly, but fast heating is not one of their forte.
It is certified by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which certifies that the radio frequency of this product does not cause harmful interference. It shows that the manufacturer of this heater knows the importance of certifications. Electrical heaters usually do not generate enough electromagnetic fields to cause interference, so having it certified by the FCC is good but not as necessary as having it certified for safety from respectable organizations such as UL, CE, or ETL. I checked its webpage, its user manual, its brochure, and the label on the heater and could not find any safety certifications.
Heaters have a higher risk of causing fire, yet this company, for some reason, decided not to get certifications that show it is safe to use. Why did they choose to get a certification for a lower risk of interference but not certifications for a much higher risk of fire? As a retired electrical engineer, it is unacceptable.

Instructions are a little lacking and it only reads in Celsius so there’s some conversion to do for us Americans, but overall this works fantastically well, the wall mount is a neat touch however I opted for the feet so I can move it to a different room if needed. I tested it in my bedroom…. big mistake…. I forgot to turn it off so when I finally went back in there a few hours later it was an oven in that room… so it definitely works!

It looks very fancy. I like the option of it being mounted on a wall, but since I like to move the space heaters around to the rooms where I need them, I chose not to go that route. Picking it up is easy as pie because it’s very light. There’s heft so you know you have something in your arms, but it’s not so heavy that moving it is impossible. It works quietly and well. You really do notice the heat output right away. I can see why keeping it in the bedroom would be ideal because it won’t keep you up. Minus one star because the batteries in the remote were dead. Thankfully I always keep a stash of various sizes around so it was just a matter of changing them out. With the fresh batteries the remote works great and from a few feet away. You don’t need to be up close and pointing at a very specific spot. Other than that, this is a great addition to my home.
