I love this fan i use it in my truck. It’s doesn’t draw too much power. It move air very well. I definitely recommend this fan. It has a quality build. It’s very durable as it has bounced around in my Truck. It hass three speeds settings.

This fan meets all my expectations! It is relatively quiet, fits nicely on a window sill and moves the air very efficiently! Don’t let the small size fool you! Creates a very comfortable breeze with a small-ish footprint and very reasonably priced!!

Works ok. I use it next to my bed for when I have hot flashes at night. I’ve had this for a while now and when I first turn it on, it makes a lot of noise but quiets down. Didn’t do that when it was new. Also the switch ‘click’ is very loud. My husband is usually in bed before me and when I turn it on it wakes him up most of the time. But it was inexpensive, so…

My very old electric fan finally bit the dust. I need a fan at night both for white noise and air circulation. This has a nice variety of speeds. It’s a good size for my bedroom and a nice steady sound. I have never had a Black and Decker fan before and to be honest, wasn’t aware they made fans. This allows me to not need to set my AC so low at night, saving on my electric bill. It’s easily the best fan I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it!

We’ve bought quite a few of these fans. We like them because they are pretty quiet, fit on our window sills, and work well. Cons are they are difficult to clean and seem to crap out after about two years (likely because they get full of dust). But we use them a lot so given the price, they work for us.

I have been looking for a fan to fit on my windowsill between the window and blinds that would be quiet enough to not disturb everyday life. I only found one other fan with a smaller footprint (
2-Speed Tabletop Box Fan 9-Inch Compact Quiet Home Office, White
) and decided to try this one first because it shipped prime (and therefore was also cheaper, with the free shipping) and because of its prettier design.
Now that I’ve received it, I do really like the sleek, clean-looking style that doesn’t look “warehouse-y” or industrial indoors. It has a nice slim, simple design and a small footprint (hard to see on the images, the base is T-shaped and incorporated into the shape such that it’s not a full box sitting on its bottom side like most). Fits on my windowsill between the screen and the blinds (even though I think its width is really more accurately ~4.25in rather than 4in flat), which is what I wanted. It’s quite light-weight but seems stable and doesn’t shake at all, or even move when the plastic blinds move around and bump it. The first/slowest speed is so quiet that most likely someone buying it for white noise would be disappointed. This is perfect for me because that speed is sufficient to get air moving in my AC-less apartment on a hot day without making a bothersome amount of noise. The 2nd and 3rd speeds do make some noticeable white noise but I think still an acceptable level for that amount of power–but I doubt I will need those speeds. The only thing that is not 100% wonderful about this fan is that the cord comes out of the back on the side opposite the speed dial and there’s no room in the small base for the cord to pass under rather than over the fan if you want to cord to come out on the other side (e.g. in my apt, the outlet happens to be on the other side relative to the fan). I am able to cross it over on top of the fan behind the frame so that in the end it’s not visible, and it’s a small detail anyway.
All in all, this fits my needs perfectly and lives up to its advertised purpose. I am buying 4 more so I have one on every windowsill in my apartment for the summer!
