My partner and I have wanted to get an air purifier for some time now, our roommates have cats, the previous residents were smokers, and our room gets dusty and very stuffy. I was able to get this Dustmagnet one on sale. I love this little thing so far. It’s only been a couple days to be fair but I’ve already noticed a difference in the freshness and crispness of the air. My partner and I have it in our bedroom. And I don’t know if it was just older reviews and the product has been improved or I’m missing something… but I have no issues with the sound. I expected it to sound like a fan. It is like realllllly quiet. We have it on auto and I can only hear it if I really pay attention. Even on its full setting it is simply a nice white noise and quieter than a fan in my opinion. On the app you can change the setting, monitor the air quality, and even turn down the LED indicator lights or turn them off entirely. I also very much enjoy its style, it gives me mid century modern vibes which I love. Time will tell about how it works long term but so far I’m very excited about it.
In the video, I go through the different settings and there is little if any background noise. Level 2 and 3 seem to be significantly louder than any of them. I keep mine on auto full time and it’s virtually silent. The picture shows how I have my filters placed, the only thing I would change about this product is to make it super super clear in the instruction manual which direction they go in.

Contrary to statements on Amazon, manufacturer rates this unit for a 360 sq. ft. room – maximum. This is a “medium” room size rating, not a “large” room size rating.

I really like this rig! I’m not “an App Guy” but the smartphone app for this thing is easy to DL & install and works without a hitch. It is attractive and efficient and does not make any unwanted noise. I’m a smoker and it readily senses when I light up… thereby kicking the fan speed up a notch or 2 in order to clear the air. After that it just about shuts down and you wouldn’t even know if it were on or not. Even at full-bore fan-speed it isn’t disturbing to normal conversation. I think the price is too high though. But even with that, I am contemplating/considering getting another one for the other side of my house. This is cool kit that works as promised. I recommend & you get what you pay for.

Purchased during Prime Days (7-11-23). When I received it I set it up using auto mode. It said that air quality was excellent, so the slowest fan speed runs 24/7. Very quiet!
I was starting to wonder if the sensor was defective because fan speed and air quality readings never varied.
Then tonight ( 8-9-23) while cooking chicken wings, the fan kicked into high mode. Checked the app and watched the pollution readings change. It ran on high for about an hour cleaning the air.
I have it in our living room. Kitchen is the next room over.
Also to be noted. The T.V stand it’s next to is usually very dusty (our house was built in the 70’s). It’s dust free now!

This thing is whisper quiet, and I forget I even have it sometimes because it is largely out of sight and I only ever hear it spin up when I’m cooking or putting out a candle.
I highly recommend this if you have any concerns about the air quality in your house because it will 100% help with that and filters out all sorts of crap from the air. I changed the filter on it recently and its incredible the amount of crap you could be inhaling, especially if you have pets.

I like the look of the unit as well as the top to set my Christmas cactus on. The noise level is not noticeable on low which is where it stays most of the time with the auto setting. So far the only thing that bothered me was a rattle and then a clanking noise when the unit first went to a high fan setting. I found two small pieces of grey colored plastic inside the unit. I couldn’t tell where they came from but everything still seems to work as it should so I wrote it off as a possible shipping issue. Overall my first impression is I like the operation of this unit.

After conducting extensive research on air purifiers, I finally made a decision between two options and went with the Blue. As someone who works from home, having a clean and healthy environment is crucial, and this product delivers on that front. Despite being located in my living room, it effectively circulates all the air in my two-bedroom home in just an hour, ensuring that the air is free of smoke and other pollutants.
As someone who smokes, I am especially impressed with how well the Blue works to eliminate smoke from my home. Though it can get a bit loud at times, I appreciate how it reminds me to quit the habit. When I am not smoking, it gradually becomes quieter until it is virtually silent, which is a nice touch.
After seven months of use, the Blue has exceeded my expectations. Though the accompanying app indicated that the filters still had 16% life left, I decided to replace them sooner and was glad I did. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase and only wish I had made it sooner. I highly recommend this excellent product and give it five stars.
