Thought about replacing my ultrasonic humidifier because of a buildup of hard water that made my humidifier more noisy and difficult than normal. Took a chance on this product because $10 wouldn’t hurt too bad if the product didn’t work. This product got rid of the blue/green hard water stains and helped free the moving parts of my humidifier. If I knew I would be this impressed, I would have taken before and after photos.

I typically use regular white vinegar to help remove the build-up on old humidifiers. This product does the job quite a bit better than vinegar alone. I wish it came with more than 3 packs for $10 though.

I received my box of Boneco humidifier cleaner & descaler on Feb. 18th. After using just 1 packet of this product as instructed, all the hard water scale, that built up in my tabletop humidifier after 1 month’s nightly use, was AMAZINGLY dissolved and easily flushed away!! Amazing results….thanks! I recommend it to anyone.

This product is supposed to eliminate the lime deposits on my Air-O-Swiss humidifier. I have used it once and it seemed to do the job, although my humidifier is fairly new and has not had much build-up yet. I like to use this as a preventative measure to keep things running smoothly. You need to be careful when opening the pouch, the product is very fine powder and has a tendency to float up and into the air when you are pouring it out….do not inhale this stuff! Try to stand back a little bit when you are pouring it, because if you don’t, you’ll get a face full of dust. Other than that, it is easy to use. I’m a believer in maintaining my appliances so this is something you need to do to prevent your machine from failing to perform at it’s optimal level. And for my Air-O-Swiss model, I paid over $100 for it, so I think it’s important to keep it running smoothly.
