Love this thing! It chucks some serious clouds. I live in Phoenix. It’s dry year round. This is great for my skin and sinuses.
I will say that you should use a distiller for your water. If you don’t your humidifier will create this white powdery haze. It will get into everything and will clog your central ac filter in a day or two.
Use distilled water. This applies to all humidifiers and is especially relevant to places with hard water.

I have had a couple different humidifiers but used tap water and they don’t last long with the hard where I live. This one is easy to clean just by its simply design. It has different settings and an easy to use timer. I just purchased a distiller and will soon run it full bore 24 hours a day. It’s very dry where I live and I have a parrot and it’s made a huge difference for her and her feather and skin health. Love it

We’ve had this humidifier for a couple of weeks now and it is still working great. It runs 18 hours a day because we are using it for plants. We haven’t had any issues with it at all. Here is what we like about it.
1. You can fill it from the top. It has a nice little handle so you can carry it with ease if your water isn’t close by. This is a big deal. If you’ve had other humidifiers that you cannot fill from the top, then you know what I’m talking about. It can be a nightmare and your chances of water going everywhere are pretty high.
2. It is black in color and does not let light in. This is important because then no algae can grow inside. Sounds gross but this is what happens when clear humidifiers are under plant lights. Definitely get the humidifier drops as well. They help with any residue or scaling.
3. Easy to clean. We just pull the top off and rinse it out.
4. Very simplistic controls. You can choose between multiple humidity levels from 55%, 65, 75, 85 and 90%. It also has 4 speed levels and a night light. It does have a sleep timer as well.
So far it has been great for us. Like I said we’re using it for plants.
We spent a lot of time researching humidifiers and trying to find the right one for what we are doing. We hope this review helps anyone that is trying to find a great humidifier for a small grow tent or grow room.

Got it for my wife who keeps coughing despite not being sick. Just dry air I guess? ANyway, she’s been coughing less, and being able to add essential oils (I think that’s what they’re called?) is a bonus too. Doesn’t take up too much space and the cord is fairly long so ideally you won’t need an extension cord.

I have used this unit for only 2 days, but think the following a fair estimate. First the good. The unit sits on a granite counter, so about 4 feet above the floor. It sends a visible stream of vapor, and none reaches the floor. It works quietly, and the shutoff works fine. Overall, the unit is acceptable. However, there are a few annoyances.. First, the filter is awkward to reach, difficult to attach. If not attached properly, it will float, and not stay in place. A better method would be to either snap or twist into place. And if there is a marker noting the maximum fill point, I can’t find it. And the manual could use some work; explaining the top can release either one or two vapor streams, as explanations weren’t always clear. Still have to clean it which could mean finding other difficulties, but overall, like the unit, and am keeping it.
UPDATE Now used the machine over a week, cleaned it twice, and find it well worth having. Unit works in a larger room than recommended, but does its job well to raise the humidity enough. I am planning to buy a long handled soft brish to help clean as I have large hands. Still think the filter could be marked better or clip into place, but have had no issues with it since the first time. Used a fragrance. and, while getting the drawer out took a bit of trouble the first time, found it works. and did add a nice odor to the room. I like the unit and recommend it.

I work in the Arctic and it is extremely dry up here. My other humidifier was small and needed to be topped off a few times a day. This one holds enough water to get through a couple days if you don’t have it on full blast. I LOVE that you can turn off the lights and display with the night mode and keep my room dark while sleeping versus having a bright light source. Been a great purchase
