My husband put this in an area of his shop. On 90 to 100° days it cools great! He has been a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractor, his whole life, and loves the mini split! You can control it with an app on your phone that is easy to set up as well as the easy to use remote. He is already wanting to get another one for a different part of his shop.

I’ve used several lower priced minisplits, this one is definitely my favorite. I run it on 100% solar, on full cool it uses slightly above 1000 watts, air coming out is 38-40 degrees f. My other mini splits use close to 1400 and do not cool as good as this one does. The phone app works great very easy to control and setup, very happy with the unit. Just make sure you install correctly, most people have issues due to install error.

Delivery was not aceptable. Took a week longer than it was scheduled. Initially there were issues with accepting my payment but then the deliver driver would call, hang up and rescheduled me because he “couldn’t contact me”. Amazon doesn’t help much with thi

We used this unit for our insulated 1500 sq ft shop. The unit performs very well, on the hottest days this summer (upper 90’s real temp and 100’s with humidity) this unit kept us at a nice 79 degrees in the shop with no humidity. Was worth every penny, installation isn’t bad. FYI: This unit does not like Ground Fault Breakers, you will need a standard breaker.

Im not sure why all these bad reviews are here, ordered 2 units both came quick and had no issues with shipping. Had licensed hvac tech install and both work great with no issues, came with wifi and hooked right up. super quiet…would buy again without hesitation

I bought this unit and had it installed by a licensed AC contractor. Within 3 weeks the freon had leaked out. I called this seller and they immediately said it was not covered by warranty as it had not been installed correctly. Not so.
i argued with them, eventually got a manager who said they could supply another compressor at a reduced rate. It turned out be almost as expensive as the whole unit.
I then had that installed and 3 weeks later that too had a freon leak from exactly the same fitting. This time I called a different contractor, licensed of course, to diagnose the problem. He took one look at it and said that I should stay clear of these particular Cooper Hunter units as, in his words, ‘they are known for having this issue’. Again, this seller refused to address the issue, saying it had not been installed by a licensed AC tech. When I showed him that it had he then blamed user error and refused to either refund, or repair. He thought he was really clever, almost taunting me as he said ‘good luck’.
$2600 down the drain, no customer service, no integrity, and no mini-split. The worst transaction I have ever been involved with, by the worst seller on Amazon. i now have another unit, not CH, installed by the same installer as before, and no issues at all to report.
A company should not be judged solely on the quality of the product (this would have been a one star anyway for that) but also on the after sales service and the way they conduct themselves. I would give this zero stars for that, and cannot recommend this company at all. In fact, I would advise anyone considering them to run as fast as they can in the other direction, just like this seller did when I called them to report a defective unit. Shameful.
