After a long search, and after ordering some Chinese thing claiming to be a purifier, named Jafanda, (promptly returned that one) we found this Daikin air purifier with a built-in humidifier. We are impressed by the quality and the workmanship of this unit. It is also very sensitive to Dust, Particles and Odors! Just the air purifier we needed. Highly recommended!

Impossible to register online and forget about calling they want you to email them. Then they’ll tell you to call. Something is up with this product two layers of tape on the box and the first one is yellowing. And they taped over the original bar code with a piece of white paper. Manufacturing date on the back of this air purifier is 03/2022. It does look new with paper manuals so I’m not sure what’s going on. Trying again later to register it. 🤷♂️

High quality, compact air purifier. Makes a difference in the air quality. The auto-sense technology is helpful (it adjusts airflow based on particles (2.5pm), and odor. Made in Japan from a reputable air quality company. Importantly, the HEPA filter and charcoal filter are really affordable on the official Daikin website (DaikinAirPurifier dot com) – it’s $30 for the HEPA filter and $12 for the charcoal filter with free shipping (much cheaper than on Amazon). Highly recommend.

This is a pretty involved thing for an air purifier. It takes some time to set up. It has a water tank on the side that is finicky to get in/out of the unit. You also have to pull out several pieces before you can get the filter in there for the first time. It has A LOT of settings, but if you don’t want to spend forever figuring it out, you can always just put it on “automatic” and let it run. It is MUCH louder than the other air purifiers we have used. It seems to work OK, but there isn’t really an obvious way to tell. Overall, it’s very expensive and more complicated than we anticipated.
