I like this humidifier a lot because it is way more chic looking than the ones you get at the pharmacy. I don’t fully understand the ‘hot’ setting so I can’t speak to that, but on regular cold, it throws out a good amount of mist.
I’ll also say that it works better in a small room than in larger areas even though it says it is large.
It is also not the one with WiFi (the white standard one).
I bought it because I get super dry & stuffy in the winter, and it seems to be helping my skin when I’m sitting close by it.
Overall, great buy. I haven’t needed to fill it too often, and haven’t needed to clean it yet!

EDIT: It is now July 2024, and the humidifier stopped working….
However, the customer service team at Dreo is FANTASTIC, especially Carol.
She helped me troubleshoot the issue, and Dreo is now sending me a replacement!

if this is running in the background, it is very convenient. however, there are (at least) 2 probs.
1. theoretically, you may only need to set the options once. so just be prepared that this will cost you (at least) an hour of your life. the buttons are a nightmare. they aren’t real buttons, just touch sensitive areas. i do electronics and it appears they cheaped out on this part.
the buttons only trigger the function you want about 1/3 of the time. 1/3 they do nothing (annoying, but keep trying). and 1/3 they trigger some other function (and it is hard to tell what the new setting is, in order to correct it. more faulty button pressing to do!).
2. the power button is touch sensitive. but for the humidifier to work, it needs to be away from walls. in other words, it must be set up somewhere in the way, so you end up bumping into it constantly. thus triggering the thing to turn off (without you realizing it).
nonetheless, i have owned maybe a dozen humidifiers, and this one is one of the better ones (not saying much, they’re always really terribly made, for some reason?). the ‘auto’ (thermostat) feature is a huge help! the cool/warm mist control (not usually a feature) is great, since i run this year-round (the heat can add up in a closed room, sweaty!). even the nite-lite is useful (color indicates water temp).

I purchased this humidifier for my plants, so it runs all day and night. It’s very quiet. The humidifier puts out a great mist. I love that there’s an app for it so I can change the settings from wherever I am. I don’t have to be right next to it in the room. It has a manual and automatic setting so you can adjust your humidity levels. I like the fact that I can just take the tank off to fill it rather than walking back and forth with water to fill it. It’s also easy to take apart and clean. I’ve been using it for over a month without any issues. I’d definitely purchase again.

Love the fact that this lasts for days after I fill it; my last one would only last a couple of hours. There is also no noise with this! It’s so quiet! There is nothing to put together, you can control the humidity for your plants if you choose to and there is an auto shut off feature so I don’t have to worry. It is sleek looking compared to my last one which was pretty old I admit.
I also purchased one that was not new and the only problem was the sticker had been removed from the box. Other than that it was perfect. I am so happy!!

Got this for our dog (really) who has breathing issues. I tried a Vicks model before, but was always having to fill it with water and clean it. This humidifier has easy to set buttons, and the warm or cool steam is a plus! This is quiet, and it does come out like a steam. Other reviews stated it gets water on the floor, but I haven’t had this problem. I do put a small pad under it though, just in case. I also recommend getting the filter – but we have hard mineral water, perhaps one wouldn’t be needed with city water. Although we got this for the dog, I notice my skin isn’t as dry. Great product.

Updated review: Less than six months of use . . . . . I NOW have MUCH to complain about. Dead; will not work. Will not reset. Going into recycle bin. This was a new one; not a returned that was resold.
Original review: Nothing to complain about. It is quiet and the controls are easy to use. I especially like the setting for humidity level; in percentage. Sleek design. Refilling is easy. I first used the built in carry handle. It felt secure; even with a full tank. However; with two relatively large dogs under foot 🙂 I felt better using a large plastic pitcher to fill it as needed. On my 50% humidity setting I fill it every three days. With summer I find I do it every second day. No need to do anything with the controls; just add water into the tank. Setting the humidity level is easy and shows your setting in the display. Once you set your desired humidity level within several seconds it displays the actual humidity level and the display changes as the humidity level approaches your setting. Top vent rotates 360 degrees to allow you to aim the mist in any direction. If you forget to fill the tank it shuts off automatically and the indicator light turns red. Easy “fix”. Pour water into the tank and within ten seconds it is working again. You do not have to reset any setting as it will remember the last one made.
Fit and finish was quite good. Would recommend this to anyone needing a quite and easy to use humidifier.
