I bought two of these for my kid’s rooms, we live in a very dry climate that get’s dryer as we head into fall and winter. They are already suffering from bloody noses at least once a week. These humidifiers have definitely improved their sleep and overall nasal/sinus health. I love that I can set the humidity level in sleep mode and set a schedule by day of the week and it does the rest! I can turn it off and on right from my phone! The only thing I wish it did was notify me of when the water is low or needs to be refilled. The machine has a light, but it doesn’t come across in the app. My kid’s a bit older (pre-teen/teen), so I’m not in their rooms daily to check, AND getting them to notice it’s not empty is a work in progress, just something I have to adjust. Overall, I definitely recommend these!

This was a great investment. Reasonably priced and the great features compared to similar devices on the market. I love the Bluetooth integration, being able to start stop and make changes to it on the fly. Easy to clean. Easy to maintain. Great investment.

This was a second choice brand after #1 choice was returned due to poor construction. This Dreo Humidifier is a great option – it’s easy to assemble – no leaks, easy to clean, and the ability to control using the phone is great. I can check the current room humidity and decide to tun it on or leave it off. Even with the unit on it only runs when the humidity drops below the set level. Perfect – no chance for soggy rooms! Added bonus is that Alexa can be set up to turn it on as well. The price was only $4 more than the other brand that leaked and had none of the features on this one.

We use this humidifier inside a large reptile enclosure. It runs regularly to keep the humidity at 70%+. After multiple failed attempts with other brands, I can say that this is the BEST for **thorough** cleaning, and hard water. Replace the filters as recommended, and consider an additive if your water is super hard. App is great. Customer service has been stellar. Thank you, Carol with DREO!

I had high hopes for the Dreo Smart 5L Humidifier, given its promising features and positive reviews. However, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory. From the moment I started using it, an unpleasant and persistent weird smell permeated the air in my bedroom.
Despite thoroughly following the instructions and cleaning the humidifier regularly, the odor persisted, making the entire room uncomfortable. The supposed benefits of the oil diffuser and nightlight were overshadowed by this overpowering smell.
Moreover, the top-filled design, which initially seemed convenient, turned out to be a hassle. It was challenging to clean thoroughly, and I noticed mold developing despite my best efforts. The 50-hour runtime was also not as impressive as advertised, and I found myself having to refill the humidifier more frequently than expected.
While the compatibility with Alexa and Google was a nice touch, it hardly compensates for the fundamental issue of the strange smell. I reached out to customer support for assistance, but the response was slow, and the proposed solutions did not resolve the problem.
In conclusion, the Dreo Smart 5L Humidifier has been a disappointing purchase. The persistent weird smell, coupled with maintenance challenges, makes it difficult for me to recommend this product to others. I regret this purchase and am now exploring alternative options for a more reliable and odor-free humidifier.

This is great! Small enough for an apartment but works great! The app is really easy to set up. Wi-Fi connectable, turns off when out of water so there’s a peace of mind there. Great price, display screen is easy to read & it’s quiet. Happy with this purchase.

When I got my 3rd orchid, I learned that they needed a humid environment. I purchased this DREO model and am very satisfied with its performance over the last 9 months. I keep my target humidity at 60% and the device has no problem in achieving and maintaining it.
When I need a replacement, I plan on getting another DREO. They are smart and well-made.
