The humidifier came packaged exceptionally well, with easy to read care and cleaning instructions. It’s made from high quality materials and nothing feels cheap or flimsy. One of the warning labels did leave behind a sticky residue which was impossible to remove without rubbing alcohol, but at least the plastic underneath wasn’t scratched or scuffed when I peeled them off.
There are quite a few parts to remove and clean before and in-between each use, but given how dangerous mold can be, I actually view this as a good thing. The unit comes with a tiny cleaning brush, 3 (total) aromatherapy pads for essential oil, the instruction/warranty booklet, and a helpful quick cleaning guide.
The humidifier is very powerful and produced a huge plume of visible mist the instant it was turned on. You’d really have to strain to hear it make any noise at all, as the unit is virtually silent. There is a rather loud beep each time any button is pressed, but these noisy beeps are the only feature I could see anyone having an issue with, everything else about this humidifier is fantastic. I’m very pleased with my purchase. There is an optional nightlight of a soft teal color that can be set to high, low, or turned off. This nightlight is quite pleasant, and if anything, I wish it were a bit brighter on high. You can see a little waterfall trickling inside the unit when this light is on. It’s really cute, and again, totally silent.
Just a few things to note:
– Never add essential oils to the water reservoir, the instructions are clear that this will damage the unit. There is a little tray in the back with an aromatherapy pad that can be used instead. The scent produced is mild, as this humidifier is not a dedicated diffuser, but my orange blossom oil was noticeable and enjoyable.
– Dreo customer service is out of this world! There was this little silicone ring not specifically mentioned in the cleaning instructions which I took it off to clean before first use, but I walked away to let everything dry and completely forgot how to put it back on. There are a few different places where the ring looked like it could fit, so I had to sheepishly write to customer support for help putting it back together. Tracy immediately sent me a custom-filmed video of how to reinstall the ring, which was way above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I’ve never had such a fast and incredibly considerate response from a company, it really blew me away. (Thanks again Tracy, you are seriously fantastic!) I’ll include the video she sent me here, just in case anyone else is as forgetful or clumsy as I am. xD
– The care instructions recommend use distilled water, not tap. This might be a factor for some people, so I thought I’d mention it. (But using distilled water is always best with ultrasonic humidifiers like this, otherwise you’ll be breathing in all the minerals and particulates found in your tap water, and a thin white film will eventually build up all over everything in the area.)
– The tank size is really generous, an entire gallon of water is needed to fill it up! That one gallon lasted all day and all night with the unit running on high, and I could definitely feel the difference in the air. Eventually had to turn the humidifier down to low, this thing really works.
I am very pleased with this product and would definitely buy another. Super high quality, especially for this price point, and the company actually cares about its customers with phenomenal service and support. I can’t recommend it enough, you should get one!

I purchased this about 6 months ago and was really impressed when I opened the package. This humidifier is very well constructed, appealing to the eye, and works very well! Not only does it work well, but it’s very easy to disassemble and clean. Most others just have a filter that you remove and rinse out and then you wipe out the interior. This comes apart easily and lets you get to all the areas that need cleaning so you can maintain and keep it looking and working like new.
It’s very quiet to operate and has 3 different settings for mist. I can fill it and put it on the middle setting and it will go thru the night without running out of water; but if it does, it has an auto shut-off feature that kills power if it doesn’t detect water in the tank.
Along with the ease of operation, it has a nice blue LED light with hi and low settings. It’s great as a night light, especially on the low setting….bright enough to see if you need to get up in the middle of the night, and dim enough that it doesn’t interfere with going to sleep if you need very little light to sleep as I do.
I am very happy with this and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking of getting a humidifier.

Great to receive in another day after ordering. The good thing is it is small and easy to carry round. One can also add water by removing the top cover.
The operation is quiet with minimal noise. From the instruction, it said better to add distill water. I added filter water to it and hope it is still ok and will last.

I have not used a humidifier in decades; never had the need for one. The one that I had in the past was rather noisy and since you need one when you have a cold or not feeling well, it did not help with the sleep-factor. But recently, even though I’ve lived in my house for almost 40 years and never had an issue – I started getting super dry sinuses, nose bleeds – just miserable. This one caught my eye because of the pretty good reviews, ease of cleaning, and that many said it was rather quiet. Well, I’m glad that I selected it! It took about 2 nights to finally get some relief with my sinuses – but now I can sleep through the night without waking up, hardly able to breathe. Some reviewers said the water lasts for several days so the first night I only filled it up about a 1/3 of the way. It shut off (automatically 🙂 a few hours before dawn. The following night I filled it close to the max line and it lasted, easily, all night. Now I fill it up a bit over halfway and that works the best – since I always dump the water every morning and add fresh at night. It is heavy for me when it is full (as a senior with a bad knee – and having to navigate around two sleeping great danes at night) so I’m happy that halfway lasts all night. I have it on the floor on a low stool – so the furniture does not get moist, at mid-mist level – and it is perfect for me. That is probably not really a concern, because although I put a towel down so the floors don’t get wet, everything appears perfectly dry in the morning. Aside from its exceptional performance, what has me touting this humidifier, is its exceptional low sound level. I do not like noise – even white noise – when I sleep and this one fits the bill. I honestly hear nothing unless I am right at the edge of my bed – within inches of it. For that alone, I would give it 5 stars. Although I’ve never used the night light – it does appear to be very nice – not too bright, just a soft blue glow.

My bonsai needs daily watering and misting. I’ve purchased a programmable watering system but it wasn’t enough for my tree to remain moist so I need to spray it many times a day. When I got the Dreo humidifier it showed me what percentage humidity my bedroom has and at 32% it’s clearly not enough for me and my tree to be comfortable. I’ve been suffering from dry eyes and sleeping in this very sunny room where the air is always dry. I’m also very relieved that I can go on vacation and control the humidity while I’m gone. The installation of the app was very easy and it works like a charm. I totally recommend this product.

I’ve bought humidifiers in the past and they have been small, don’t produce much output and they’re hard to clean. This thing will fill up a pretty large room within a few hours (if the door is closed of course) and is fairly easy to clean and come apart. I also love how big the tank is. For the money it seems like the best bang for your buck.
My only thing I dislike about it is the buttons are very hard to find. Especially if it’s in a child’s room like mine is and I’m fumbling with trying to find them in the dark. I wish they would’ve put a dim backlight in behind the buttons, but that’s pretty much my only dislike about this humidifier.
