This was a replacement of an old (1997) GE 42″ Zoneline in a ground floor sunroom..
Apart from the delivery which was held up for a week in an XPO warehouse, this arrived in great shape and installed in almost no time and works a treat. Most of the installation time was removing and disposing of packaging.
4 screws to remove old unit. A wheelbarrow was useful for moving it. And an extra pair of hands.
Cleaned up old frame which had collected years of external debris.
Slid new unit into the old GE housing with a pair of helping hands.
4 screws again, plug in cable (separate order) and test.
Perhaps 10′ actual install time. For the rest, as much time as you need.
Packaging lists the weight as 110 lb, so you really need a buddy, a Phillips screwdriver and a dolly to get the job done.
