A waste of time and money. A desk fan and a bowl of water would give you a better result.

I am in the process of transitioning into an offgrid life in a camper. Currently I am only spending weekends out in the wild. This is one of the 5 types of portable coolers that I have bought to deal with the 100+ degrees heat. My setup is to run two to three of these coolers in the back of my older Suburban. With shades outside and ventilation from the windows, I can manage two days max. When the ambient temp is above 100, the water is warm and the mist doesn’t have much of the cooling effect any more. That is to be expected, isn’t it? A proper camping AC with a competent power station and adequate solar panels will cost you at least $2K.
The mist is definitely stronger and reaches farther than other similar misting fans in the same price range. I buy a bag of ice on my way over and fill all the fan/misters with ice then top off with cold water. That helps tremendously. The blower-fan part is weak, that I do agree. The mist seems to reach me before the wind from the fan. For me, it’s the mist that matters.
Also, the blue light can be turned off if you hold the mis button for a few seconds.

Honestly you got to be right in front of the darn thing. And yeah, it’ll cool you. As far as a room even of a small size, this is not worth all that. You’d be better off buying a conventional metal frame fan. Plus this lights up really bright with no option to turn it off without the water vapor being dispensed.. in short, hot nights and bright lights

I had an old Artic Breeze model that finally broke. I broke the top lid off. I decided to order thid one where you load it from the bottom. I load it with crushed ice and ice water and for a good 2 hours it blows out cold air. I use it when I go to bed, when I am working from home. I live in an older house with crummy insulation and an older air unit. This has been great at keepimj me comfortable during this heat spell.

I have it right next to my bed! You just add cold water and cold mist becomes available. Has helped with this heat wave

This is not very cold at all.

Add ice and chilled water to the base (instructions say don’t add ice, but that’s nuts, they will melt). Based on the lowest temp reading I took, the source of the mist on the front is roughly 69-70 degrees. This is not AC but in scorching heat it will cool you provided you are directing it directly on you within 2 feet. On speed fan setting 2 of 3, it is relatively quiet. You do get a droplet of water with mist function every now and then. It’s not worth $50, to be honest, but it does what it claims. 4 stars.

All the pictures I saw online did not show an electric cord so I thought it had a USB charging capacity it does not. Runs on electricity.
