I chatted with someone here and they offered me a refund and told me to keep the heater to be used or thrown away. I can’t use this thing. Apparently a 20lb tank can’t keep up with the 100lb tank in vaporization and the tank will freeze. It “HAS” to be a 100lb propane tank. I’m still waiting for the refund and the dumpster in the back of the property will be receiving a new friend to be carried off.
Heater feels solidly made and looks pretty good. There are several things about this heater that are either not correct or omitted.
1) The Propane output of this heater is for 18000 BTU’s. Natural Gas is 20000 BTU’s.
2) On the box it states a minimum 100lb Propane tank is “REQUIRED”. There’s nothing about this in the description on Amazon.
My first order for a heater ended up with the heater and the box getting beat to pieces. Amazon refunded immediately without question. They were on top of this and I greatly appreciate it !!! I have NEVER had any problems with Amazon in regards to problems with shipments or deliveries.
This is my second attempt to buy an emergency heater. I’m really hoping it’s my last and all is well.

This heater needs a100lb propane tank to work and it needs to be plugged in to a 110 outlet for it to work. It says no electric needed and nothing about the 100lb tank

I left the room and when I came back in my pilot was over 12 inches and was scorching the heater, it did not burn the house down but it did leave me without heat and now I have to wait for them to fix it, winter could be over before I get it back…
