I’ve enjoyed countless evenings, early mornings and afternoons in front of this electric wood stove. It looks beautiful in my room and produces a warm, comforting heat to counter these cold New Hampshire winters. Great, high-value purchase.

This product is not steel.
Not the product we expected for the money we paid.
It will do – it looks good and throws out heat.

A very nice product. Had ordred one previously and arrived with crack in the top. Return was very easy with no problems. Pros and cons are listed below
Pros
Very nice design…Has the look of a real cast iron wood burner
Adjustable flame control….Can be adjusted from full flame look to only glowing embers
Adjustable heat control with thermostat
Can be used with flame only with no heat
Light weight….easily moved from room to room
Cons
Slight rumble noise when flames are operating
Red control buttons can be seen through fron grill
Doors close ok, but would be nice to have some sort of magnetic catch to secure
A bit on the expensive side, but comperable to most I have looked at
Overall, this is very nice, realistic heater. Used in our home in master bedroom, mostly for ambience. Have looked at many big box stores before this purchase and now realize how fake theirs looked. Glad we purchased this one and would recommend.

Beautiful, and works well for my small basement room. I am really only using this in addition to our central heat, though. So, I haven’t even really tried the high heat mode, other than to just turn it on, and make sure it works.
Since my room is in the basement, it can get down right frigid, even though it does have a central heating vent. Of course, it’s not surprising, since the rest of the basement around my room is completely unfinished, and not connected to the heat.
The flames have been on all night, every night, whether I have the heat on that long, or not. And I have run the low heat all night, a few nights. But most of the time, I just run the heater part for a couple of hours, before going to sleep. And, of course, I shut everything down before going to work.
It runs almost completely silent, with just the flame effect on. And, other than the minimal noise required for the blower, it’s super quiet with the heaters, too.
What I love most, is that the top and outer sides don’t get hot. So, if I brush by it too closely, or my cat hops up on it, we don’t get burned. My room isn’t any bigger than an average bedroom, so that is important. And it has just enough clearance beneath it, that the carpet doesn’t get hot, either. I was pretty paranoid about that the first day, so I kept checking it about every 30 min for the first couple of hours, then every hour for the next couple. The area of the unit around the heater, itself, got pretty warm (so, don’t let anything touch the bottom of that directly!) But the carpet really never seemed to change temp, much.
Wish I could take a better pic of what it looks like “burning”. It’s beautiful. And really nice not to have to worry about smoke and embers. Haha. And since I have a Japanese style bed on the floor, it’s the perfect height to lay here and enjoy it. Can’t wait until my boyfriend comes back home, so we can snuggle in front of it. 😉
Since this was almost $200 I did purchase the square trade warranty with it, just in case there are any issues with this unit in the future. But, hopefully, it’ll keep running just like this. 🙂

I love this “little fireplace”. The unit is really cute and the “fire” is pretty convincing, it definitely gives you that homey feeling. It also puts out some serious heat. We live in a ~1100sqft 1906 row home and it can pretty well heat up most of one whole floor. The doors are plastic and do not have glass, they are really just there to cover the knobs. The glass on the inside is what makes the heater convincing as a real fireplace, it’s very nicely made. Quick install of the legs – just need a screwdriver. It’s light enough to easily carry from room to room. On the lowest heat setting, we were more than comfortable in our ~300sqft bedroom during a freezing night. We’ll see how it does when the temps get into the teens, but I’m pretty pleased with this purchase. I haven’t seen a power bill yet, but I have to assume it’s going to be a lot less than a 20 year old gas furnace running for the whole house. Very pleased with my purchase! One thing to mention though – it says it’s 22″ high, that’s without the legs. It’s 25″ with the legs attached.

I am literally obsessed with this darling little faux fireplace!! Not only does it bring a delightful (if not mesmerizing??) and cozy ambiance into my little studio apartment, it also easily warms the place up! It’s much more efficient, quiet, and easy to control than my 100+ year old radiator, plus it’s beautiful to look at. I always get compliments on it when friends come over because it just gives the apartment such a cozy vibe! I usually keep it on low-medium or medium and it warms up my 12’x14′ room just fine. I’ve never needed to turn it up more than that, and I keep the light on the logs set to its lowest setting at nighttime and don’t even notice it! It creates just enough glow to light the floor on my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Bonus points because the little thing is super quiet AND very light, so it’s so easy for me to move around by myself and will be easy to box back up to put into storage for the coming summer months! 10/10 recommend!!
