I am so pleased with this heater. Now that the Fall has arrived, I have replaced an older heater with the Lasko Space Heater. It is great, esp. when compared to a cheaper brand! It keeps my 22′ trailer warm (hot if I wanted it). If I know it is on, or it comes on when I am paying attention, I can hear it- barely. I woke up one night and had to check to see if it was on it was so quiet (it was on). The tip over switch is simple and works. The thermostat is also simple (a scale rather than actual temperatures) but it only took one cycle of heating for us to find where we like it and we have never touched it since. The heater itself stays barely warm to the touch, even when it heats the whole place up. From a safety standpoint this is important. Nothing to burn little kids as they play. This heater is worth every penny.

This little guys pumps out a lot of heat. Works great in regular bedrooms or my office and can put out more than enough heat for those spaces. It struggles trying to heat our kitchen/living room – need a bigger model for that. Controls are super simple, but not that precise. When things get too warm and I need to adjust the thermostat down a bit. It’s 1-10 scale, but not in degrees — so you just gotta find the right spot. 4 is good on cold days, 5 on cold nights. It’s pretty rugged, lightweight, has a little handle, good safety switch on the bottom. Simple, but does the job just fine. It was a good purchase.

Cord is decent length. Controls simple but good enough for use.

This is the first desktop heater that I have ever purchased and I love it! Works well. Heats up very quickly and has a good fan. I would definitely recommend, no hesitation.

My computer set up is downstairs which is always colder than the rest on the house. I finally decided to buy small electric heater, rather than run the furnace for the whole house, when I am the only person in it and only in one room. I was impressed by Lasko as a company. I read their write up on how long they have been producing this type of product. It is small but effective. At first I thought that it would be fine if it only heated the corner of the large room I was in. Although, it takes awhile, it does eventually warm the entire room, which is approximately 18×20. This will certainly save money, by not running the furnace as much. It is compact, relatively quiet, has a long cord and shuts off it tipped over. It is well worth the reasonable price.

Si gasta mucha luz y no lo recomiendo para ambientes secos. En baño funciona perfecto y en habitaciones pequeñas. Ya tiene dos años y sigue funcionando muy bien.

We really liked the size. It really heated our smaller travel trailer. It saved on our propane usage by not using propane heater. It was easy to use. We loved the thermostat feature . It kept us warm and cozy on cold nights this spring.

I’ve had this heater for a little over a year at this point and I like it… except for the saftey switch on the bottom and the temperature control.
First of all, if I have the heater flat on my hardwood floor, the safety switch is disengaged and my heater won’t even turn on. I have to have it methodically elevated on a small box in order to fix that issue. It’s very annoying because I like moving this thing around my room and I can’t do that if the safety switch won’t engage. I also don’t have carpet anywhere in my apartment so that wouldn’t solve any problems for me.
Second, if you have the temperature too low, the heater switches off too. That’s weird to me because why would you even bother putting markings there if the heater isn’t meant to go that low. From the lowest possible setting to the hottest, the temperature feels the same too. It doesn’t feel like it adjusts at all.
The thing is also pretty loud. I wouldn’t want to have it turned on during a phone call or a meeting. It’s pretty easy to drown out if you actually have to get work done, but I know that can be a turn off to some people. It has held up pretty well, though. I’ve moved twice since having it and it hasn’t gotten very banged up or anything. It’s a great little heater other than the afformentioned issues. I wish those two things weren’t so frustrating, otherwise it would be perfect. I will also not be getting this again if it does end up breaking. I’d rather find something else that will actually turn on when sitting flat on the floor without having to elevate it on a box.

This little heater is really big in usefulness. It puts out plenty of heat, is easy to control the temperature, is very safe (just a little bump and the heat goes off) and comes right back on when it is returned to upright position. I like it so much that it is the third one I have bought. All of them are still in service. I need a little bit more heat when I am in certain rooms and I do not want to heat my whole house that much. I may have hit the limit of how many I need, but I can highly recommend them. They are long lasting. I do not remember when I purchased the first one, but it was many years ago, and was a very slightly different model. The final digit was one number different, otherwise they are the same. Even the oldest one still works as well as it did when new. I expect the same service from this little fellow.

This replaces a different brand that did not have a tip switch. I believe a tip switch is an important safety feature. The 1500 watts is sufficient to take the chill off of a small bathroom in just a few minutes.

Quiet and powerful, this thing comes through when you just need to take the edge off the cold

Warm and quiet. Heats a small room.
