This ac unit is fairly easy to install and nice and powerful, which is exactly what I was looking for. Keeps room/rooms cool and very comfortable. Also, the remote control works great too.

I use it to cool my kitchen, nook area, living room and the master bedroom to the left of all areas.
I like the force that it blows cold air with.
I don’t like the fact that the front of the box was damaged and the front plastic filter cover was cracked. However, it’s still performs extremely well.

I have had this for about a month now. Most of that time was spent trying to figure out how to install. The instructions are awful. I almost gave up and wanted to send it back but this thing is so large and heavy I was not sure how to get it back. After purchasing another bracket and rigging it to stay where I need it, it does seem to be cooling pretty well so far. It will take time to see if the installation process and the stress that came from it is worth the work this machine puts in. Would recommend something with easier installation.

I really like this A/C. Its NOT the quietest. That goes to Midea but it does move air & the rooms get cooled quickly. Now, the issue comes..
When i installed this A/C, it put the bracket (That does not come with it) tilted so that the water could go towards the back. All three of them but one day in the morning, I turned it on for 20 minutes and when I looked at my floor, i see a leak. Water was on the floor! Water came from the front and It was about 5 feet long and 2 feet wide of water. Thankfully i was there to stop it but thats not the point. How about if i wasn’t there? I turned the A/C on through the app 40 minutes before i got home? Then what? It would have ruined electronics. furniture etc.
As much as I love these A/C’s, They will be returned. I cannot risk my belongings like this.

Impressive cooling capabilities. Would not call it quiet though its not too loud. The real disappointment is the mounting hardware. 2 of these flimsy L brackets are supposed to hold the unit on the bottom. They wind up getting bent while installing, it would be nice if lg spent a little more effort on this stuff at this price

This one is whisper quiet, connects to wifi and cools a large room excellently. It was easy to install and I have had it on constantly for 3 weeks and it has already become the absolute best A/C I have ever owned. This is high quality!

I really like it its not loud at all and cools like crazy. I can run mine on low and barely hear it. It starts up slow so theres no jolting noise nice remote but it has to be pointed right at it unlike most remotes these days

Replaced a Media 8000 BTU U shaped inverter with this one. The LG blows it away. The Media had very little air force after 2 summers of use. It rattled and was noisy to sleep with (in our master bedroom.) This LG has at least 3 times the airflow on high, and is very quiet on medium and low speed. It cools our large master bath and bedroom down very quickly in the humid Alabama heat. I highly recommend.
