I ordered this unit to stay cool while working in the shed, garage or grilling outdoors during the summer.
It was 98 degrees outside and 82 degrees in our shed with the 6’x7′ roll up door wide open. Finally, I can work outdoors in the middle of the summer and not have to wait for spring or fall for big outdoor projects.
I also hooked up the water filter from my trailer with a 90-degree brass elbow (purchased through Amazon)
when I hooked up the unit to the garden hose. Worked great no leaks, no pressure on the water hook-up connector.

I had to review this cooler after using for 2 years, I’m impressed!
Purchased 04 01 2021.
Serviced for the first time with clean up and pad placement 07 15 2023.
Please understand evaporative coolers do require maintenance, especially portable unit.
They require a little attention if you use every day. Such as drain tank at end of every day. The reasone is as the water is used it leaves behind calcium and minerals. Draining daily stopes buildup in unit and pads. I run mine with hose attached.

No rust anywhere.
Everything still look and works like new.
Amazing unit. I expect to get another 5 to 8 years of service from this unit.

Poor customer service, both from BT Smart (the seller), and dealing with Amazon in trying to return this defective product. Product was not identified as used, yet the entire machine, inside and out was coated in sticky white powdery material that doesn’t wash off. When the machine runs it gives off a strong chemical smell… obviously this product has been used in an inappropriate environment. Since I don’t know what the powder is, I am not comfortable using this product, and in attempting to return it for a refund, I am expected to pay $120 shipping fee in addition to the $120 shipping fee that I already paid to receive the product. Although the product was shipped in its original box, there were parts missing, no owners manual, and no protective packaging, resulting in dents and scratches, with the control keypad being partially knocked out.

Living in Phoenix, the summers can get quite warmish. This thing works awesome and makes summer days by the pool a million times more enjoyable.

I use this swamp cooler at a house in Utah where the humidity is low. It is made with the cheapest possible materials and has no handles to lift and move over steps or obstacles. I hope the internals are better constructed. The construction quality is something you would expect to see in North Korea- seriously bad. But it works great so far. Drops the temp at least by the amount claimed. We use on the deck and is really effective though a bit loud.

Evaporative cooling works great where there is high heat and low humidity. Reduce amount of water with clamp on hose from pump to evap pads when humidity rises to high will also drop room temp at that time . increase water to pads when humidity drops and room temp is higher than you want. Never let pump run without water in cooler. This unit is Analog controls so no Remote Cont Available but best for durability and reliability. Buy from reliable Seller like Amazon and check for any damage as soon as received. Then if you do your part cooler does it’s part. Save power and have cool room in Summer Heat. Adjust water flow as needed.
