Works great. I heat my 2 car garage with a wood stove but it can take a while for the garage to initially heat up. This heats up the place in just minutes then I shut it off and use the wood stove the rest of the time. I have a tractor I keep in a barn. This winter at negative temps I needed to use the heater to warm the barn \ tractor to be able to get the tractor to turn over. Not a challenge for the heater at all. Very handy to have around. I run it with diesel fuel.

My old kerosene heater stopped working and I needed a replacement quickly. I saw this unit on sale for a great price so I decided to wait the extra few days for shipping rather than going to the store the same day. My old heater was 60,000 BTU and I paid $180 12 years ago. I had built a wooden stand for it so I could wheel it around my shop. First, this new unit is the exact size as my old one so it fit in the stand perfectly. Second, this unit is 75,000 BTU and I paid less than my old one. Third, it has an on/off switch and a thermostat, unlike my old one. And fourth, it starts up immediately. My old one took awhile I wasn’t always sure if it were going to start or not. I couldn’t be more please with it.

Love the heater and for the price it is wonderful. Initially I was going to get the 50k BTU and went for the 75k, I have an oversized 2 car garage, really a 2 1/2 car size and the 75 is definitely sufficient but wish I went for the 100k BTU.
This is my first kerosene heater (I use diesel in it without a problem) and the fan seems a little bit noisy/whiny but I don’t know if that is just normal, however the noise would not deter me from getting it again.

took it out of the box installed the handle on top with two Phillips screws and there are two brackets on the side for an extension cord that I did not put on cuz I did not need filled it with kerosene K1 plugged it in turn the switch on it fired right up works great little noise but not as loud as other ones I have used more on the quieter side no smell of fumes until it shuts off you get a slight smell no biggie the unit works perfect very simple user-friendly like the fact it has a thermostat control heated my garage up in less than 5 minutes my garage sizes 35 ft × 28 ft with 14ft ceiling

The negative features are it is extremeny noisy, and the ridiculous price of kerosene, $3 per litre from hardware stores, $2 from country outlets.

Bought and installed November 13th. It’s December 9th and I haven’t shut it off since I plugged it in.
Does an amazing job in my one car garage. You can adjust the psi of fuel to make it more efficient. I’ve been spending 20$ a week to keep my garage warm constantly. The thermostat in this little guy is the most accurate I’ve used.

Will keep you warm but it smells. Definitely runs dirtier then propane heaters. I have it tuned to the specs in the manual and it doesn’t smoke but it still produces a small amount of fumes. I’ve only tried to run it with red kerosene, maybe other types of fuels run better.

This heater worked well. It stated that it was capable of multi fuel. If I were to redesigned, I would give a little more room around the fill opening and also adds a drain plug to remove fuel. I used it to heat a 24×30 insulated garage. Temps were below 32 F for 2 weeks and got a low as -15F. Average use was 1 gal of diesel per day.

It sounds like a WWll V1 rocket but does the job nicely. I have a large garage with a high ceiling and it warms up my work area quickly. It is also a duo fuel use unit. I havent tried diesel yet but will when I run out of kerosene as kerosene is expensive!

Nicely built. Seems to be made with high quality and easily accessible parts. Put some K-1 in it and it fired right up. Fuel didn’t leak out of devices fill port during transportation. Thermostat works nicely with an appropriate swing for a heater if this type. Not very loud. Heats my 2 car garage to 65F in 15F ambient in under ten minutes, stays off for 20 min and fires back up. Produces very little CO, so burns completely. I have a CO gauge and readings are nominal in garage with 4 Sft total exterior venting. I think the key to these are maintenance and staying with K-1 over diesel. Reviewed on 02/09/19 – will update if I have problems.
Edit 05/2020 – Still running great. Unlike all my other gas equipment I did not empty this to prepare it for summer storage. I found that when you tried to empty by burning all the fuel there was still some fuel in it and it would fire poorly. I opted to refill it totally and shrink wrap it. Halfway through the summer I opened it up and let it burn for 10 or 15 minutes outside the garage. After I re-shrink wrapped it and put it away until winter and it is running perfectly. I think the key to this device is do not let it sit too long without running. There is no way to completely remove the fuel and kerosene can get nasty. So far (1.5 years) it is still running like new.
Note: I shrink wrap it, like a lot of things, to keep it protected from the summer humidity. I love when you shrink wrap something and open it 6 months or 2 years later it’s in exactly the same condition. Worth the few minutes.
