Michael Brown –
Installed this in about 5 hours. Worked fantastic from the moment we turned on the breaker! Unit is SILENT.

Very impressed with how easy it was to install. The instructions are very clear and well laid out. Anyone with some DIY experience should be able to install the unit with out a problem.
The unit works great and cools like a champ. Will be getting a second one soon.

I ordered this unit on Aug 2nd and it was delivered on Aug 6th. That’s pretty incredible for a big item like this. After receiving the unit and reading all the instructions, I spent several days installing a new circuit & getting the wire pulled to power the unit, installing the inside wall bracket & getting the hole made for the line set and unit’s com line to exit the building, and attaching a wall mount (purchased separately) for the outside unit. Installing the inside & outside units was a “two-man job”, but probably only because I’m 83 and not the man I once was. The installation was complete and the unit working by that afternoon, so total of about 4 hours, and testing was easy and quick. Of course, living in Florida means that I can’t test the heat function because it never goes below 63 in the summer here. The unit has been running in a very hot, humid environment for over a month now and is flawless and without any requirement for attention.
My only irritation was that AFTER RECEIVING THE UNIT I found that MrCool recommends that you hire a professional electrician to set up the power. Fortunately, I have quite a lot of experience in that area & know local code, so was able to do it myself with only one problem – it is practically impossible to get hold of 25 Amp CBs and/or fuses in this area. Had to order & wait several days on that.
I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Instructions needed to be better. Wasn’t made clear that it had to be hard wired. Mounting plate poorly engineered.

The unit is great if it arrives undamaged. It was only the air handler or Wall unit that had a couple of broken attach points. Technical support at this company is nonexistent, especially assistance with the rep. named Michelle at extension 223. Tried calling several times and left messages to call back. The whole unit is over $2000 and very heavy but the damaged wall unit is only about $400 and somewhat light. I just wanted the wall unit replaced. What this company does is tells you to return everything on your own without any help to get it done in hopes that it is too hard to return or you already have started its installation. Which is when I found the damaged parts, I will not return it and find some good adhesive to glue these parts together and hopefully the cover will not vibrate. I recommend the unit but not this company selling it.

Bought for my parents. Works great. Turbo is pretty loud. Otherwise it is quiet. Note, install the usb beforehand.

Very easy to install. Great instructional videos from the QR code on installation manual. Everything works as advertised and is definitely keeping our space as cool as we like it with ease.
Note: Most if not all split units constantly blow air on the indoor unit and the outdoor condenser will only kick on when needed to drop the indoor temp. This unit is very quiet but I could see it being bothersome if right above a bed or couch. Place accordingly!

System works well, installation is relatively easy, but it’s a bit overpriced. Truly the only difference is in the pre-charged lines!
