We had a really horrible food burning problem. We left the house for 2 hours and came home to a house full of smoke. I set big fans at my doors and the smoke came billowing out. We were just plain lucky it wasn’t worse! I cleaned everything for two days. Washing sheets, towels, rugs, blankets. You get the picture. I could taste the smoke. Everything I read said at around two weeks the smells could be gone. I have a home business where people come to the house. I was freaked out! Smells make and break your mood. So I purchased this ionizer. I have had it plugged in and running for over an hour. My home is 2400 Sq. Feet on one level. It smells so much better already! This is saving my sanity. Yes! I am a crazy woman. I think I will live now.

My business partner is a chain smoker, and when he’s in town, he smokes countless cigarettes in my car. I use this when he leaves and it clears out any sign that he was smoking in it.

We ordered this to deal with a strong odor in a rental property. We don’t know the source or cause of the odor but it had to go. We did one bedroom and it was a huge improvement. We moved on to the second bedroom and it removed the odor but then back to the first bedroom for a second run and the difference was amazing. We then used it again at another property to remove smoke odor. It was not a super strong odor but what was there is gone. This worked great but you do want the area to be vacant and then open up the windows and turn on ceiling fans to circulate and dissipate the ozone. The unit was easy to use and easy to calculate the amount of time based on room size.

I used this on my eldery mothers room which smelled oddly like maple syrup and stale cigarettes which was not a good combination. I ran it for 30 minutes and then opened her window for 2 hours and when i walked in i was expecting to hear music after i took a sniff of the air .. smell is gone.. so until next time i am no longer hit in the face with her pancake cigarettes. 4 stars only cuz the smell in the room is weird.. not a bad smell just a weird one , but it goes away after the room is aired out

My daughter got a cat a couple years ago and it basically took over our basement. We weren’t using the space it was basically storage as we were blending households. We tried everything to deter this cat from messing up the carpet but with no luck, he is now an outside cat! We’ve since cleaned things out and shampooed the carpet but there was still a faint smell of cat urine. My daughter bought a townhouse in which the previous owner smoked, A LOT. The entire place just reeked of smoke. We washed all the walls, etc with a vinegar wash, but the smell persisted. Room by room, we ran this, and the smell is gone.
It was so bad that the gasket on the refrigerator door stunk. I put this unit in the refrigerator, and the following day in the freezer. Smell is gone. Very happy with the results, and hope I never need to use it again!

This machine is definitely defective. I recommend Enerzen. I have 2 but should have bought another instead of this. I’m going to see if I can return it for repair. I had a maintenance man use it while I was out of town and the return time has just expired!
