Only ever had issues with it, only works consistently when I force the cable into the port by hand, otherwise it doesn’t get a connection reliably, it just turns on and off randomly, constantly beeping. When it is on, it doesn’t move any air, or clean any of the air, had it 2 years, and the filter is not at all dirty.

This does the job as well as any other compact air purifier. For use in a vehicle it is difficult to find a good location, however. The velcro strap can go around a headrest or center console, which I thought would be a good solution, but I couldn’t find a place I liked. It does have velcro straps to mount it to carpeting, so I placed it on the floor behind the driver seat. Since I rarely have passengers in the rear seat, that’s an OK spot.
I was a little disappointed that the item was not “new” when I got it, but aside from someone already incorrectly applying one of the velcro strips right in the center of the bottom, it seemed like it hadn’t been used, so I tried it out and ended up keeping it. The place they put the velcro makes it hard to use the mounting strap, though, so that stinks.
The cord is plenty long, so it can reach the 12v “cigarette lighter” type sockets from basically anywhere in the vehicle. It would be nice if they’d used USB instead, but I’m not sure of the power demands vs the USB socket output in the vehicle, so maybe it wasn’t an option.
Overall it is a good product and I chose it over some cup holder types because I didn’t want to dedicate a cup holder to it and, if all of them are needed, I wouldn’t have an alternate location.

Received brand new product, working as expected. Fits in a cupholder, the base of the product is around 7 cms in diameter. Equipped with a HEPA filter, UV sanitizing light and HESA max cartridge which works passively to neutralize gases. Looks reliable as its from Phillips. Filter size is smaller as compared to other Phillips purifier as I understand however will be able to tell effectiveness after using for sometime.

Like that I have different placement options. It’s not too noisy. Auto comes on when vehicle is started and shuts off when vehicle shuts off too.
Don’t like that it doesn’t keep the last fan speed setting. New vehicle here so I want it on high speed all the time to help get rid of those VOC’s, but when it turns on, the fan speed is always at low, and each time I start up the vehicle I have to manually change it to high speed. Very annoying when I’m starting and stopping such as running errands. And inconvenient if the filter isn’t in an easy spot to reach from the driver’s seat.

So I my old one finally said it was done lol. I was looking for a upgrade for my car. Doing lyft as a side job. Having clean air while driving is nice and needed. So I purchased this upgrade and I am happy with it. My only issues is now having to purchase some charging adapters. Because now I have no room for my phone charger and lyft light. If this came with a USB port or cord. I could’ve just plugged it in the same ports as everything else. So for this to work. I had to eliminate one of my ports. Which sucks. Lol other than that. I’m looking to get another one for my other vehicle.

Like the size, looks, and it’s not too noisy.
The manual does not show any option or advice on how or where to find or replace the filter.

Why would such a reputable brand do something that many people think to return right after the purchase?
This noise is so high, it’s unbearable on a high setting.

This product did an amazing job. Have a crew cab truck that I smoke cigars in. Within a couple days the air purifier took care of the residual odor that just sat in the truck. Fit in the cup holder right next to the USB plug so it was never in the way. Even on high you could barely hear it.

Works well! The Miss’s doesn’t complain about my truck smelling of smoke or ashtray. The two hour timer after the vehicle is off is a nice feature. Two speeds for fans. Looks sleek enough to be mounted in the open if space is an issue in your vehicle.
