As the seasons start to change it’s time to break out the indoor fire pit and stock up on bioethanol fuel for it. This sort of bioethanol is the only one I’ll use inside the house and so far I’m pleased with how little smoke or odor this produces. I also found it burned for a good long while.
I have similar fire pits outdoors on the porch but out there I’m less concerned and just burn the 99% alcohol from the grocery store pharmacy. Inside though, that produces too much smell and smoke for my tastes.
This is a good buy compared to what I got last year at this time. I got a similar sized package of 3 but it cost more than this 3-pack.

This is a nice clean burning fuel. We have only used it in our outdoor tabletop fire “pit.” It works fine (it has a long burn time) and produces little to no odor. Also, there are no black soot marks on our little fire pit after/during burning.
We do not cook over this flame so I cannot comment on whether this fuel yields a flame that produces off flavors/soot on the food. Also, we do not use this indoors or in any alcohol fueled cooking utensil.
Proper venting of any fire pit type device is key – any fuel will burn “dirtier” if it isn’t vented properly or if the proper amount of air is not fed into the fire. Please make sure all your fire pit type devices are properly vented when using this or any fuel.
All in all this is a good product and I second the other good review.

I ordered this since I have a tabletop fireplace. It burns okay but unlike sterno which comes in a can and just has to be covered, this needs to be poured back in the bottle if not all used in one seating or it just evaporates. So I either only have to put in a little of this which then the flame would be low, only use when I’m going to want to look at the flame for a while or I have to use a funnel to transfer this from the fireplace back to the bottle. I like the look of the fireplace but I probably won’t use as much as planned with the effort required. I will however keep this handy for hurricane season when I may need the light or cooking qualities this has
