We have added this to our motorhome and it’s absolutely perfect! We like to dry camp and don’t always have power to run the heater for long periods of time. We starting camping as early as April (in Utah). This fits all our needs and keeps us nice and warm at all times.

I have similar Procom model bought in 2012.
To operate at 4,800 ft the unit needs to be kept free of dust and this winter the thermocouple went out so I’m writing a review after someone mentioned these won’t work above 4,500 ft.
They will but must be kept clean at all times.
My home’s water heater same issue pilot light plate area needs to be free of dust so keep it clean every 10 years on the house 40-gallon water heater natural gas works perfectly if the dust in the pilot light area is kept clean.
Same with the heater in my RV keeping the ProCom vent heater free of dust works great.
I have an Empire heater infrared heater 20 years old keep it free of dust and work perfectly in the RV.
This year I also had to buy a new burner and thermocouple for the Empire heater.

This is a bad product for uninformed/casual user. Just called the manufacturer. They stated this requires minimum a 100 lb propane tank to operate, an important information missing from product description missing on Amazon. Customer care tells me it is in the manual, which is also not listed on Amazon. Now it is beyond return window, so I have no option except to discard it. I am going to call Amazon to see what they can do.

I absolutely love how well it operates, I do wish it had a blower, so grab the wood stove fan to get circulation, I kind of wonder if there is an option for a battery operated spark for the pilot but it has always worked with minimal striking of the ignitor so not bad even without the battery ignitor.

Worked well for 4 months, after that the pilot light was having a hard time staying lit, and flame was not right as was very low… Spoke to Customer service, the first thing they ask is what size tank did you use, oh we don’t warranty any that have been used with less than 100lbs tanks, you must have broke it. When I asked about this he said if the pressure is too high or too low you will brake the heater…If you ever used a smaller tank it is not under warranty….If you google the pressure of LP gas tanks they say that all have similar pressure depending on temp. not size… This company scams folks if they have any problem with their unit and who in their right mind wants to carry around a 100lbs tank. They know nobody does. So they can win each time.. This is a total SCAM! Don’t buy from this company.
