I’ve had this heater for a couple of months now and use it daily. It is still running perfectly. The low setting is great if it is near on a desk and the hot setting is really hot. I had the previous version last year which had only the 800 W setting ( probably equivalent to low on this heater) and it started to rattle on startup for the first few minutes until it warmed up. This heater however is still running great. Yes I would recommend.

I used this portable heater in my office at work, and it’s such a great product for the price. I use it all day everyday and have never had any problems with it. Even after running for 9 hours straight it never shuts off or smells like something is burning. I’m pleasantly surprised with how hot the air gets, and it’s quieter than any other portable heater I’ve used in the past. This was a perfect addition to my little cubicle, but only for about 3 months. It heated my space perfectly, was quiet, and easy to use. I really only used it 2-3 days of the week.
Now, 3 months later, the toggle switch is nearly impossible to move, and it won’t turn on at all, even if I leave it in the “on” position, and just plug and unplug it from the wall.
It’s too bad that it had such a short life span. Too pricy to only work for such a short time.

Great backup for when the bunk heater goes down. 1200 watts high 800 watts low. Does not trip the 1800 watt inverter breakers like the 1500 watt models do. The fan pushes the hot air out and is massively better than my standard 1500w heater with no fan. Got me Through a +3 degrees farenheit Wyoming night with temps about 74 after closing the curtain.
