This heater is plastic, not steel as stated in product description. So disappointing.
Seems to work okay, and it’s cute. Will be used in bedroom so the aesthetic impact will be negligible.

I was looking for a little heater that I could use for a faux fireplace with my antique mantle. This was perfect. I had to build a little platform for it to raise the height a little, but otherwise it worked really well. Can’t speak for its heating ability yet. I mainly got it for the look and flames that work without heat. It was so much more affordable than other options. It’s sturdy and not cheap looking either which is a plus. Spray painted an oatmeal container for the ” pipe” and am Voila!!!

I live in an old house with windows that are so terribly drafty, so I decided to order this to put in my living room. I also felt sorry for my new baby chihuahua because she gets cold so easily. We now have two deliriously happy females in the house due to this little heater! My little puppy will just walk up and stand sideways in front of it, head lowered and not moving a muscle. Sometimes I have to check to make sure she’s awake! I’m so glad I bought this heater..it was delivered in a timely manner and performs as advertised.
