I am very impressed with this radiator heater, I have 2, 1 in my living room, the second in the bedroom. and I only have to turn on the living room to warm both floors to a nice comfortable level. so far even on nights down to 45, and windows cracked. I had 1 of them on half power, medium level. and it still managed to keep the whole house warm.
I will get another for the basement for winter. Oh, forgot to mention, it did NOT increase my electric bill, except for maybe a a dolar or two. compaired to lighting the furnace, and using natural gas, and the fan in the furnace. The radiator is a MUCH cheaper option.

Please understand that the heat is radiant, which means it does not blow out heat, but merely heats up the oil and stays warm. I would recommend this for drafty houses or rooms that need a little extra.
Cons: Takes a while to heat up. It gets super hot to the touch. The chord is way too short.

The first one I ordered came with a crack on the plastic control mechanism. The second one arrived and its undamaged. I wanted a white one since the black ones are so apparent in light-colored rooms.
The heater works well. The only downside is you cannot set the thermostat for a specific temperature. There are just dots indicating power and heat level, but no corresponding thermal rating. This isn’t really a great design choice.
It works though, and there is no smell. I like it.

I purchased this heater on October 6th, 2024, as per the invoice on Amazon. Living near the Rockies in Utah, a reliable heater is a necessity. I started using it in the first week of December. However, by mid-January, the dial became extremely hard to turn, to the point where I had to force it.
On February 5th, despite having the heater on all day, I returned to a freezing room. The heater had stopped working and has not functioned since. It lasted for less than two months, which is very disappointing.
I checked Amazon for warranty information and was directed to contact the company. The company’s online chat claimed immediate responses, but after waiting for about 1.5 hours, I received no reply. I have written to them and am hoping for a response within 24 hours.
In the meantime, I have ordered a new heater from Amazon, the PELONIS PHO15A2AGW. We had one when we first moved here 17 years ago, and it lasted about 12 years. The second one lasted 5 years and still works, albeit not as well as it initially did.
As for the R.W. Flame heater, it’s destined for the landfill next week.

Bought one this winter and it worked very well sitting above the floor vent in a room with poor insulation. Oil heaters are so much better than others. Understand all electric heaters create the same heat at the same wattage, but with an oil heater you are heating the air in the room to heat everything else in the room. It’s so much more livable for the same power cost. Providing more airflow will greatly increase the heating in the space. (With a small fan, or sitting above a floor vent). This will consume a little more power as the extra airflow will cool the coil, causing it’s thermostat to run longer. Absolutely the best way to heat a room!

This heats up in about 30 minutes! It really keeps the heat up and on. I’ve never seen this in exclusively electric heaters. This heater works so well, I have to turn off when the outside warms up above 40 degrees F or it stays almost too hot. I live in Texas so I only need this 2 or 3 times a year. This would really be best if you get more extreme cold weather but also have access to reliable electricity output as this is fuel filled but electric. Two thumbs up!

when I first got it I did not hear so many clicks and clanks. The click when the thermostat turns on but it’s a low noise and maybe a couple more pops as it heats up. After a week of use, this thing makes more clicks and pops. Not only that but the orange light indicator never shuts off even when it is supposed to be off. Is that right? I love that it’s a very simple analog unit which tends to last forever but the build quality on this is meh. The light duty wheels actually are held on by only 2 bolts and an arched wire that hooks into the base up around a fin base to the bracket. I mean, it is still sturdy enough and at least the unit isn’t as top heavy as the more beefy ones so that’s probably why it’ll do fine.
I will update if I return this and go for a better built model. Just make sure you don’t pay full price, sale only and maybe you’ll be ok with the price/quality.
When I leave the house I unplug it most the times. I honestly don’t know if I’ll keep this.

Heater works great for a small apartment. Its does have a slight ticking sound that come on every once in awhile could be the oil heating up. It is kind of bulky compared to other electric heaters, however the wheels makes it easy if you need to move from room to room. The unit does get hot so do not place any items on top, would recommend to keep away from small children. Overall great radiator oil filled heater.
