Nice alternative to have when compared to other noisy portable heaters which will use fan and makes a white noise all the time. This one is very quiet.
It has a saftey mechanism which will automatically switch off when it got tipped.
Pretty solid heat across the room and looks nice in the room.

My wife is a teacher and her room gets really cold. She puts this next to her desk and it works very well! She has tested the auto-off-safety feature and found it to be safe for the classroom! Great value.

Grabbed the heat dish version, been a cold winter at the time before the rains came in. As soon as it arrived, plugged it in, it was quick to heat up. Noticed a faint factory smell when it got into full heat, but has since been nonexistent during its almost constant usage. Quiet, minor hum, but it is bearable unlike some on the market that have a fan. Been working strong, and has been a great investment so far.

Exceeded my expectations. Friend recommended this type heater so we gave it a try. I like that the heat is imparted to me more than fan type heaters. It’s relatively inexpensive so what’s not to like.

We have had many portable heaters and I got to thinking about
how effective the coil heaters were from my childhood. No fan so
no noise . Heat filled the room. I typed this in to amazon and up
came this heater. It is perfect. Not cold anymore.

Read somewhere that it had a ceramic heating element but the heating element just looks like a coil of regular wire. No info in the documentation that came with the unit indicated that it has a ceramic heating element. Also the unit will not tilt to level or lower position. The cord is too short. The carrying handle is insufficient for getting a good grip on unit – this requires two hands to carry. I’m not real sure I would buy this unit again. Heats OK I suppose. Instructions are not clear whether or not the unit can operate “continuously” or only on the timer.
