I brought this thing out two days ago to use for the first time since last fall/winter and now it just won’t turn on for no reason at all, do not buy this, look elsewhere

This thing is great. Overall I would recommend. I use it everyday in my home office, which is always cold. The heat output is very good and I love the timer function (I would always forget to turn off my previous heater…). My only real complaint is that the motor that runs the fire light is a bit loud. Wouldn’t be a problem if there was other noise in the background (like the TV, people talking, music, etc). However, I always turn the fire light off as my office is too quite. Was very easy to assemble (just screw on the 4 legs), and the unit remains cool to the touch, other than where the heat comes out (which is to be expected). The remote is great as well! I have not used the buttons on the actual unit since the day I first got it.

We were looking looking for a compact unit to supplement the heating in our guest room that put out some decent heat, had a remote control, looked nice and fit into a tight corner. The Selectric unit delivered on all fronts. Also liked the fact the heating element was high on the unit as opposed to blowing from underneath. Was also pleased the top stayed cool. It worked so well my teenager continually steals it for his room when his friends are over and it has stood up to being a side table and incidental garage heater when fixing the car. Only concern was it took a little bit to figure out how set up switch on the base unit to accept the remote commands. Appreciate the timer and thermostat-based shut off too. Highly recommend.

It is nice looking and seems to heat up a space well. I think the heater is a bit loud. It is a nice size for a small space.

I got this heater to help warm a chilled room. I have it set up on a marble table and it works really well for taking tbe chill off. It has a remote which is a really nice perk of this heater. I love that it looks like a little woodstove. The fan isn’t terribly noisy, not much more than a regular fan. I also like that you can adjust the temperature either manually or using the remote. The top doesn’t get warm at all, so I placed a little lamp on top as well. All in all I’m quite pleased with this product

I was little worried about the noise because I read the reviews someone talked about it is big noise . But honestly it doesn’t bothering me at all
I like the heater Automaticly on&off itself . It is very easy to use and light weights so I can move everywhere I want . Good value for money . I will enjoy with heater this winter for sure ! Thanks seller .

I love the looks, size, flame color and weight.. The heat output for a regular size bedroom is just right and the fact you can control it remoteñy is fantastic especially if your relaxing in bed. And, yes it’s extremely easy to put together. What I didn’t like is that it is made of plastic and warns against picking it up after use which makes it difficult to move from one area to another.

Definitely a lot of plastic, however it works appropriately on low(1k watts), and the fan pushes the heat from the infrared around effectively and efficiently as well. Takes very little time on low to heat 250’ to 72F. That saves $.
The fan isn’t extremely quiet, but it will suffice. The thermostat is a big step better than the cheap hardware store space heaters, but still not as accurate as a central heating thermostat.
Looks very nice . The congregating cats approve.
Bought it for the better reviews. So far it deserves them. Hope the ambiance is worth the high price.
