This three in one portable air conditioner is an absolute game changer, especially in the scorching summer heat that we’ve had this year. This is not just a regular AC unit, it functions as a fan and a dehumidifier as well. Myself and my partner suffer from year round chronic allergies and this has been such a life saver for the both of us, allowing us to be comfortable in our own home without all the runny noses and itchy eyes that come from indoor allergies caused by dust or mold.
The AC unit on this thing is incredibly powerful too, cooling down large rooms in record time. I’m an impatient person when I get hot so this was an absolute must when purchasing this. I really like this concept, but the final outcome didn’t work as expected, I mean, is an in-between within the fact that it can cool, but doesn’t cool enough to be “the ideal cool”, and then *THE NOISE*, IT RUINS EVERYTHING, I mean the cooking capacity is good, but you can get deaf if you sleep with that thing turned on.

Purchased this portable AC , installed it, and it never blew cold air. Did all the troubleshooting that the manufacturer said to do and still didn’t blow cold air. Sent back to Amazon and received a full refund.

This air conditioner is perfect, it has everything I wanted in one compact, portable unit. I had a large workshop space which was not conditioned in any way. I was really happy to find this unit that not only provides me cooling in the summer but will provide heat via heat pump in cold weather. It’s the best of both worlds and an inexpensive way to achieve everything I wanted without any complex installation. This unit moves anywhere easily, being on casters and only requires a small opening to be able to vent. It is a great capacity for a large space too. My space is about 400sqft and it is easily able to keep up with demand. I like having the extra capacity though in case of extreme heat or cold. This unit has wifi control as well which is handy. I can raise or lower the temperature remotely, for example, bumping up the cooling on my way home when I plan to work in the garage and don’t want to wait for it to cool. It works terrific and operates quietly. There is some noise with the fan, but that is it. Overall great unit.

I got the SereneLife Portable Air Conditioner for my bedroom, and I couldn’t be happier! My room used to get sooooo hot and stuffy, but this unit cools it down so fast! The 14,000 BTU power is perfect for my room, and I love that it also has heating, a dehumidifier, and a fan all in one. The wheels make it super easy to move around, and setting up the window mount kit was easy (even for someone like me who isn’t great at that stuff). It’s energy efficient too, which is a big plus. If you want a great, powerful A/C, this is it. Totally worth it!

We do have central AC on the top 2 levels of our home but it is vented through the ceilings. So the finished basement is next to the laundry room and does not have central AC. Most summers, it not a problem in the northern US but this summer was brutal. Could a 12000 BTU AC make a difference even with a laundry area in the next space? The answer was a surprising, yes!
The space is about 500 square feet with a wall but no door separating the washer and dryer. This area is “finished” but it will still get warm and musty.
This AC performed like a champ to cool the air and I used the dehumidifier function a few days. The unit is portable with whelks so i was not a big issue to empty it, but it’s still primarily a great AC with fan and dehumidifier modes.
I will not hesitate to use portables ACs again. The efficiency, the portability, the ease of installing it into my window — and the quiet cooling function all make this a great choice.
