About a month after putting it in my new gun safe, I took it out to dry the gels. After over 24 hrs of dehumidification, the gels are still green, meaning they’re not drying or are defective. The return date expired about 20 days ago.

Great Product I can’t believe how good it works in my safe and keeps my watches from moisture and it is warm in safe not ice cold with moisture. Good product and no regrets. I recommend it.

I ended up buying two of these. They seem to work pretty good. It takes a long time for them to get fully green. My big complaint about these is the location of the charging port. It’s on the bottom, but angled. It is very awkward and difficult to recharge. I think if this was on a shelf with an open bottom it would be easier to recharge (although the cable is very short, maybe 2 feet). However I don’t have a shelf like that, so I have to put objects under it in order to keep it upright while I plug it in.

I bought this rechargeable dehumidifier got an 800lb safe and it is a great buy. I only have had to plug it in to take the moisture out of the beads inside 3 times since I bought it. It’s a great product for a gun, jewlery and important paperwork and so much easier than dealing with damp rid plus you can plug it in and within 12 hours of charging you are good. Make sure to put it on a bowl or plate that it will sit above the bottom because while charging to dehumidify the pieces inside the outer part gets hot and will sweat. Also let cool before putting in back in your safe. Great product!

I liked that the product doesn’t feel cheap. The heating elements that dry the absorbing material are working properly. This controls the humidity inside my Safe.
