At $200, the KEGIAN Space Heater is the most expensive space heater I own. It is significantly larger than my other space heaters. It is also quieter and has some distinctive features, like a supplemental humidifying capability. Space heaters can definitely dry out the air, and the KEGIAN comes equipped with a small water reservoir to put humidity back into the air, which is a nice feature. It hasn’t gotten so cold that I’ve had to use the space heater a ton yet, but I did test it out and leave it on the other night. I didn’t realize when I ordered this that both sides of the heater emit heat. I was thinking of putting this heater against the wall, but I now realize it needs clearance on both sides of the heater. There is minimal assembly required in that you need to attach the wheels to the base and then attach the base to the heater. It is very, very simple to do. The heater is lighter than I thought it would be. It heats up very quickly. It’s almost entirely silent despite the amount of heat generated. The remote is straightforward and easy to use. The only non-self-explanatory button and feature is the mode button, which toggles between Eco, Low, and High heat modes. There is a timer setting that supports anywhere from 1 to 12 hours. There is also a bar for hanging a towel to warm it up. It puts the towel very close to the heater, which is a bit concerning for me. All in all, I’m very happy with this heater. It is very effective and quiet. It heats up my large open living/dining/kitchen area. I still think it’s quite pricey at $200, but it is the best heater I own.
