Received and it worked great for 5 days. Now the fan runs but the water is not pulling through. This is my second one of this model. My first model had the same issue but it worked for 2 years before it stopped

After messing around for a good long while with terrible ultrasonic humidifiers, I ended up sticking with the absolute best, which is Vicks. The only problem is that it does still need filters. This humidifer uses a W2 and water purifiers, but once you have all of that, you’re good to go – just remember that they need to be cleaned about once a month. They are the best, hands down, and it’s worth the work.

With it being winter season and cold and flu season humidifiers are scarce where I live and typically sell out as soon as they arrive so I was happy to find this one on Amazon. I use it in my bedroom at night to help me sleep soundly without feeling like I have to get up for a drink of water every couple of hours. I have noticed that my husband, who has a prominent smoker’s cough, sleeps soundly with very little if any coughing. It works well and has a decent sized reservoir and it works with the Vicks vapor pads and other such items.

Works amazing better than the older one the Vicks pads last awhile but I had bought a separate box of refills just in case but I definitely recommend this to anyone needing this kind of product it’s beat more expensive brands in my opinion

Nice set up, although it is not a top fill. I find that letting it run after the water is gone will dry up the filter, which can be a good thing to prevent any bad growth.
The fan is great and the keeps the room moist

I have been suffering with dry humidity in my apartment for a few years now, and I’ve tried every humidifier I could get my hands on just about.
Because I have allergies and severe sinusitis I also needed something with Vicks that would help me breathe. I wish I had bought this at the very beginning.
Now I grant you that the Vicks pads don’t have a powerful smell but you can smell it and it has a great powerful cool air blower. It is not a steam machine. It is a blower of cool air with the Vicks pats, and it puts in that moisture into the air to where it brings that dry. Humidity into a normal humidity reading.
My humidity thermometer was always at 21% and a normal reading should be around 30% and up so I was always having nosebleeds and sore throat. But now my head is reading about 41% right now so during the job I have and felt sick since I’ve had it and I’ve had it almost 2 days now.
So I ordered another one for my bedroom, and I highly recommend it.

When these units fall, even lightweight and empty, the plastic shatters and even the base gets invisible holes in it that leak all over the surface it’s resting upon. One came already damaged but you couldn’t tell and it leaked everywhere. I advise to set up on a bar pan or raised edge cookie sheet till you discover if it’s going to leak or not. And be very very careful handling them and storing them in their original packaging for the off seasons. Amazon didn’t make me return the one that arrived damaged and just replaced it.

I Love this humidifier! I have purchased several in the past few years because it works so very well here in the desert where I live. I run two in the house, both 24-7-365 so keep the air moist for easier breathing. It is quiet, easy to clean, and each puts over a gallon of water in the air every day! I clean them and change the filters monthly, and I have a dish towel under each to catch any water when I overfill. I hope Vicks keeps making these for a long time!
